How did Silva look last night? I'm thinking of getting him in over Coutinho/Barkley/KDB etc as my Mata replacement.Pretty busy and central. Got MotM although KDB deserved it.

Well down my list at the moment compared to the others mentioned. He makes his teammates better just being on the field.
Granted he lifts the team as a whole and is not a direct/individual player like Sanchez but does it really effect his FPL ability negatively? Apart from last weekends cameo he has only blanked once this season and his FPL history seems to be very good.
Averages near 6 so he's a great choice when City are firing.
Call me mad, but I've kept Sanchez so far, and may continue until there are more concrete news. If he misses only 1 or 2 GWs, he may be worth keeping.
Not really convinced with the 3 options I have on hand.
1. Barkley - The members article here show that he's actually just extremely clinical, and even has less touches etc. To me, it sounds like he just got lucky.
2. Hazard - Horrid numbers in last GW for someone world class being up top. Not convinced he's really improving, unless maybe, if I watch the full 90 minutes against spurs.
3. Coutinho - Never was convinced by him, and found him to be quite erratic, and relying on long shots (does not create that much). He is just recovering from injury, so to me feels like a punt anyways.
Are there any other real midfield candidates around (have KdB and Ozil)?Agree about Barkley. Coutinho looks to have improved under Klopp, although the sample size is admittedly still small. Hazard is a punt, and an expensive one at that. All of the possible replacements have their flaws but I think keeping Sanchez is a pretty silly move as his value will continue to drop and you're missing out on the huge upside of having another potential heavy-hitting midfielder in his place.
Well, this GW I lost 0.1 on him, and need another drop to lose more, but doubt it will happen tonight.
With Barkley for me out of the question (one with most potential to rise, I'm actually considering Deulofeu), and out of these 3 only Hazard a real option, I think I have one more night to sit on it. Let's hope for more concrete news.

So my model is in the process of being reworked slightly to take away the heavy reliance on Shot accuracy or Shot On Target %. I've had some success, and have managed to pry Harry Kane from the top spot every week due to his superior SoT% - quite happy with the results being churned out by this modified version but would still like some time to see if I can improve anywhere else and then finalise it. Its done well when I've tried to simulate past Gameweeks though so I'm pleased thus far.
What I'd like to hear from you lads is your opinion on my weighting system currently. There are 3 main components to the model:
A - Concentrates on a player's Shots in Box, their GW opponent's Conceding rate of these shots, and a player's shot accuracy or SOT%.
B - Concentrates on a player's Big Chances, their Opponent's Big Chances conceding rate and also their opponent's susceptibility to these big chances or their ability to defend them, sort of.
C - Concentrates on Chance Creation, and is atm the least valued component.
Weightings:
A - 55%, B - 30%, C - 15%
Any thoughts?
Thinking of changing it to:
1. A - 50%, B - 35%, C - 15%
or
2. A - 45%, B - 35%, C - 20%
or
3. A - 45%, B - 40%, C - 15%
P.S
Keep in mind that the previous over reliance on SOT% or Shot accuracy doesn't really have anything to do with the weighting.

Are there many considering to go without Aguero for the long term?
I have most of the other big hitters up front including KDB, Ozil, Hazard..
Bringing Aguero in will affect the balance big time..
On the outside things are looking rosy at the moment.
I have 8/10 of the most transferred in players this GW.
Concerned if Aguero starts to go mad (as is likely soon) that thing will change quickly.
Any possible options with this lot down the road?

2.1m in account, 0ft currently so will be sticking this week for sure.For me if a team wants Aguero in they have to make a choice of Lukaku OR kane. A tough one.
Another route is Hazard to Cout/Firm and Vardy up but guess you just got Haz in.
Downgrading KdB is most natural way of getting Aguero in.
Didn't do me any good well unless Aguero scores 5 this week with no Kdb involvement.
yeah wouldnt worry about it in your shoes would juust carry on. I am considering going without him longterm simply cos everton and spurs are in such good form and challenging city in terms of goals scored and vardy is simply undroppable. Nice team but capping hazard is one step too far for me. I would go for vardy or kane personally.

Yesterday I was looking at Coutinho and Barkley. Now I'm expanding my options. I think I was wrong to dismiss Hazard because of personal experience early season. Coutinho is still top for me atm, and Hazard still bottom.
i also owned hazard early on.
Watched most of it, here's my opinion anyway...think Hazard was alright, nothing special but better than previous weeks.
Chelsea weren't particularly attacking though, so he didn't get many opportunities. Had one good volleyed shot.
Think there's going to be a Chelsea resurgence but its going to start at the back with 1-0 victories. That's whats putting me off him atm.I did. He played well. Had one big chance to score. Otherwise it was a tight game with neither team creating or giving up big chances.
Its not about how he played but how Chelsea played. Mou is doing the LVG "defence first" approach to turning around Chelsea's results. Courtois and Zouma are the only Chelsea players on my radar at the moment. Sorry this doesn't directly answer your question but just stay away from Chelsea's attacking assets.

Been planning for a Kane, Lukaku, Aguero front 3 for weeks.
And people will be moaning because they didn't get Aguero before his another haul... This guy is just class and essential.

Selling Vardy is madness, excellent value at 6M, he just scored vs best def team in the league, he has no difficult fixture at all.
Kane is good pick but we just cannt get them all. 3,7M between Kane and Vardy mean: Vardy +KDB vs Kane + CabayeKane's stats over last 6 weeks are better than that of Vardy.
I'm hoping his output matches the price premium over Vardy as well.
