Granville was expected to miss this week’s Scoutcast. Flagged as a 25% doubt, we drafted in Andy off the bench in preparation for our resident Mancunian to go AWOL as he wallowed in the misery of his 30-point Gameweek.

To his great credit, he proved us wrong.

Granville crashes in from the off to join Andy, Jonty and myself in another episode that he describes as “cathartic experience”, as he rolls out the full directors cut of his woeful tale from Gameweek 15.

Spouting such gems as “someone has to be unlucky and it has to be me”, Granville adds an essential ingredient to a packed and lively session.

It’s helped along by Jonty’s endorsement of “playing the percentages”, roughly translated as the “Dullard’s methodology 101”, which has the four of us at loggerheads.

Once the dust settles on that debate, we tackle further questions from the community, featuring Jonty’s latest love letter to Aaron Ramsey, before rounding off with our preview of Gameweek 16.

This episode of the Scoutcast was first aired live via our YouTube channel. To view that full broadcast you can click on the player below.

If you prefer the slightly buffed up audio flavor, you’ll need this link or the smaller player.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for updates on new episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I think they've got a great balance going.

Mark's great leadership, Jonty's interesting stat analysis and theories, and Granville being the essential spice that disrupts the perfectly laid out schedule to give it a nice rough edge 🙂

Any advice lads ? I ordered a bath through Amazon but from a different company, tried to save a few quid, long story short, the bath is too small. I need to return it and its down to me, problem is, it has to go to Cornwall, from London. Ive searched firms online, the cheapest quote I got is £ 140, that's with a pallet and packaging. Parcel force was £45, but they only take up to 30Kg in weight and the bath weighs 32KG. Could I just arrange it with Parcel force and hope they don't weight it ? Or does anyone recommend any cheap(er) delivery services ? ( The bath was £360 so really don't want to pay nearly half of that to send it back) Wouldn't mind paying up to say £60

But local from a company with good aftercare.

It's so underrated in these days of online.

Hope you get sorted. All my gear is Bassett's dunno if they exist in England or not.

I agreed this with an online seller for an LCD once.

Give them a call and explain your mistake but say you're really interested in purchasing exactly the right bath from them. Any aggro on your part and I don't think you have any chance.

Is it too small to be comfortable or just too small for the space?
If it'll do as a bath then just get a joiner to box it in.
If it has to go back, have you considered hiring a van and driving it yourself?

      1. Jay_
        10 years, 7 months ago

Stupidly I thought I ordered the 1800mm one, when in reality I ordered the 1500mm one, and I'm 6"1 and 15 stone lol

          Ah..... I see your problem!
I hadn't checked van costs when I suggested above.
The re-sell or get the delivery driver to uplift are good shouts I reckon.

Pretty template team but got 4.5 in the bank thinking Kane for Ighalo. Purely on upcoming fixtures. Did think De Gea in for Begovic, but with Uniteds injuries and the fact I wouldn't be able to do the Ighalo and Kane change without taking hits, so may hold of on that for now. What else you think? I guess the Silva/Ramsey move will be popular but I hoping to wait until after the 2 teams meeting up before doubling up on either teams attacking players again.

    Butland
    Kolarov Moreno Alderweild
    Coutinho KDB Mahrez Ozil
    Lukaku Vardy Ighalo

    Begovic Barkley Cresswell Evans

    Cheers again

Top 4 CL 3rd placers get "seeded" with the 1st place EL teams, bottom 4 get "unseeded" with the 2nd placers

No - teams from the same country cannot be drawn together until the last 16

"Top 4" 3rd place CL: Porto, Olympiakos, Man U, Leverkusen
"Bottom 4" 3rd place CL: Sevilla, Valencia, Galatasaray, Shakhtar Donetsk.

Means Gary Neville's Valencia could be drawn against any of the 3 English clubs (Man U/Spurs/Liverpool)
