Granville was expected to miss this week’s Scoutcast. Flagged as a 25% doubt, we drafted in Andy off the bench in preparation for our resident Mancunian to go AWOL as he wallowed in the misery of his 30-point Gameweek.

To his great credit, he proved us wrong.

Granville crashes in from the off to join Andy, Jonty and myself in another episode that he describes as “cathartic experience”, as he rolls out the full directors cut of his woeful tale from Gameweek 15.

Spouting such gems as “someone has to be unlucky and it has to be me”, Granville adds an essential ingredient to a packed and lively session.

It’s helped along by Jonty’s endorsement of “playing the percentages”, roughly translated as the “Dullard’s methodology 101”, which has the four of us at loggerheads.

Once the dust settles on that debate, we tackle further questions from the community, featuring Jonty’s latest love letter to Aaron Ramsey, before rounding off with our preview of Gameweek 16.

This episode of the Scoutcast was first aired live via our YouTube channel. To view that full broadcast you can click on the player below.

If you prefer the slightly buffed up audio flavor, you’ll need this link or the smaller player.

Don’t forget to subscribe to our YouTube channel for updates on new episodes.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I want to fit Ramsey in from this lot:

    Willian---Coutinho---Bolasie---Mahrez---Silva

    Kane---Lukaku---Vardy

Who to transfer out? Most Likely playing 3-5-2 with Vardy benched.

    Thoughts would be appreciated.

Bolasie looked sharp against Everton and could play centrally as Zaha is back. Willian is a standout candidate, however, Leicester concede at set pieces so he's in for a good chance and his fixtures are good.

Are you gonna be annoyed with yourself if you did't use that 1 FT today, transferring your guy who blanks tomorrow for one that gets on the dream team?

Your second transfer should be Firmino to Cout/Silva. Coutinho has the fixtures and under Klopp he will be shooting from inside the box (Klopp way) not outside as he did under Rodgers.

Giroud helps Ramsey out a lot and they do have good chemistry, but I can't bring myself to get rid of Ozil, he's the man this season..

So that means Ramsey vs Giroud, and I prefer Ramsey as I don't want to lose Ighalo yet.

Not sure about that , but will easily get 60 points for every 100 points Silva does ( in terms of value )
They are good differentials and are in form players.
But otherwise I guess Ramsey .

Silva - triple Arsenal attack is too much IMO and City attack looks sensible over the coming period.

Yeah, after Arsenal they have some nice fixtures too. I'm tempted by KDB because he seems to have an eye for goal but Silva is gold too. Tough choice.

As a member I'm sure you've seem how horrific KDB's shooting stats are. With Silva in the no. 10 role I'm sure he'll tick along nicely with goals just like last season 🙂

Which you'd only be getting 8pts from due to your -4, and then you'd have to take away any VdV points aswell, meaning that IF it came off you'd probably only be up 1 or 2 points, and then have Kolarov for Arsenal next week.

        Not worth it

Would be a long term move of course. Don't expect many Saint's for the near future, and Kolarov attacking stats been good lately.

Hello everybody, Happy end of the week!!
    Aguero out Giroux in
    Firmino out Rambo\Ozil in
    Demebele (sick) out Ali\ in
    Tactic out Silva\Arnoutich in

Too many city (kdb) and arsenal players considering next week they play?

12 point hit... is that just crazy???

Which ones r the most pressing?? 2 or 3 recommended would be great. Also, how do u get a picture next to your name?? I want one.

      Hi zlat.

I would definitely save. Good team.

Would you do Barkley or Hazard to silva or kdb for a -4? I have not city attackers!

        Hi Krisbee

I'm personally giving hazard a few more weeks. Not sure it's worth shipping him for a hit. Silva isn't nailed for 90 mins yet. Barkley could easily get a nice haul this week. I would hold fire

Ok good points thank you. It's the fear of no city attackers that's the worry!

Well city were awful against Stoke. But I know what you mean. If it was free I would say make the move. But not for a hit.

If u can save this transfer and do 2 next week then should save and not do the transfer. If u must make 1 transfer then go for it

Maybe just save. Defence looks very good this week. Toby won't improve it by much. Who would you bench? Moreno?

Anyone know when Spurs presser is? Want to do Westy to Alli but want to make sure he is fit etc

I've just had a look at the Christmas schedule, it isn't actually that hectic. Other than 26th-28th, all of the fixtures are spread out. Are we, after last year's chaos, worrying too much about rotation?

I have been thinking this, it is built up to be quite a thing. Its just the fixtures you mentioned really

I think people are just hoping that Silva is rotated.

He's grand now, he's had his rest!

It's a factor, but its not a massive gamechanger

Something to be considered, but not something that should shape your whole strategy

I agree. It was more packed around Xmas last year, wasn't it? At least that's how I remember it

Actually, I just looked and it wasn't that packed either! I suffered, but I think that was due to risky choices (namely Walcott) who were rotated, but possibly not due to the fixture list as much as a repeated rotation risk.

There wasn't any chaos last year. It's just one big rumour that seems to have strangely gathered a lot of followers.

Yep. I was looking at the likes of Costa, Eriksen, Hazard, Kane, Mata, Rooney, Sanchez, Silva.

No of games rested over the 4 game Christmas period? Zero.

Should b treated just like a mid-week game as how cup games are played mid-week. Main players will most likely play.
