Saturdayโs Premier League action culminates in a head-to-head between Bournemouth and Manchester United at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries will be brimming with confidence in the wake of their historic road win against Chelsea, while the Red Devils were held to a goalless draw by West Ham United last time out.
Bournemouth tallied six more attempts (70) than any team over the last four Gameweeks and also ranked joint-second for shots on target (23). Moreover, they excelled on the creative front, fashioning the joint-most key passes (52). Regardless, the south-coast outfit still chart top for goals conceded (30) and second for big chances conceded (36) across the entire campaign, so the visiting team are likely to be afforded their fair share of chances.
Louis van Gaalโs men were unspectacular from an attacking perspective over the last four Gameweeks, chalking up the sixth-fewest shots on target (12). However, United’s defence is ranked joint-top for goals conceded (two) and for shots inside the box conceded (19), giving rise to two clean sheets in four match-ups. There is a noticeable disparity between their home and away defensive records (home: one goal conceded; away: nine goals conceded), though, which will offer hope to Eddie Howe’s men.
