      gw37 of 2013/14 exactly this happened. People Chasing with Dzeko(C) got a 48 point swing just on this. Then Dzeko got an assist in gw38 too....

99pts and back into the top 100k after 11 weeks. My back line (and a Kun armband) finally gave me something back! The GW21 WC payed off (delayed return!)

Maybe a top 10k finish isn't written off. Head down, no hits, captain selection essential.

I understand this Daniels bandwagon but it seems like everyone is jumping on it. he's one of those defenders that is hard to pinpoint exactly when points will come, with him being an attacking player in a team that rarely keeps clean sheets. eg. could easily score 11pts away to a big team with a penalty as a third sub and next week score 1pt at home to Villa. That 'holy trinity' 18pts that one defender has every season of a goal, assist and clean sheet (with 3 bonus) is bound to spark a bandwagon but I'm just saying, I like my defenders to be somewhat predictable. 😛

  I got him in GW21 on a WC mainly as a decent 5th def to warm my bench. Watched him for a while before and he is very attacking (he wears number 11 so assume he's a natural winger).
  
  Played him this week as a decent home fixture, thought he might get a return. Not got him for clean sheets to be honest, but people didn't get Baines for that either. A defender on pens is a great selection, especially at 4.5 so cheap enough to bench.

    I know, I agree he is a great choice for 4.5 but at that price it makes him cheap enough to bench which is a danger when he's on PKs. IMO if you have someone like that you have to be ballsy and play them every week and accept the blanks.

I really want to do kane > Rooney. Although kane has the more favorable fixtures..his inconsistency can be frustrating and Rooney is on a nice run.

      That's a potential problem. As I said, I wouldn't be buying Sanchez just yet personally, but I suggested KDB because I don't think he's justifying his price tag in regular weeks and removing him will cause least disruption to your team.

        When you take that opinion it is fine 🙂 And for the most part I agree but there is still a lot of 'could' and 'should' and 'potential' players there.
        Keepers are killing me.
        Mahrez I think needs to go.
        Bellerin gets no BAPS.
        KDB is too expensive for his output now Silva is back
        Özil has tricky fixtures and potential fatigue
        Iggy has lost it
        
        Maybe I am wrong but just what I feel.
