        Liverpool and Everton will both have a DGW if either of them go through in the cup. If City beat Everton then City + Newcastle have a DGW. If Stoke beat Liverpool then Stoke + Villa have a DGW.

        The blank week will definitely be GW27. The DGW could be before (GW25) or after that blank week.

        Well GK and defence would be easy - plenty of decent options for 5.5 or less.

        Strikers I would go Aguero, Deeney and Defoe.
        Midfield is tricky; really not too many options. Alli and Antonio for sure based on current form. Lanzini too when fit. Gosling. And maybe take a punt at Lingard.

                Daniels has just as much chance to get attacking returns as Baines. I would play him almost every game except against the top teams like ARS or MCI.

        Good luck.
        Give a lot of serious thought & crystal ball gazing to your remaining transfers, it's very hard to make up too much ground after the Jan transfer window in the OR rankings (top 100 or so).

            🙂 no, that's brilliant.. but leaders are about 80 -90 points ahead and that's far from unsurmountable but a lot tougher than the same gap in FPL, you'll find leaders will have consistently big scores in the run in - last year I couldn't make any headway.
            I'm not going to give suggestions as I'm in no position to after the season I've had. Loans might be the key as they were far to expensive last season and check all your permatations for MD1/2/3 as well as you can (only up to GW28 at the moment)
            But good luck as I say & to Wild Rover as well.

      Thoughts on Strikers, on a wc.

      Keeping Aguero which leaves 2 spots for Kane, Lukaku, Rooney, Giroud. All 4 seem close on stats. If anything Lukaku is the one to miss out although probably has the best fixtures.

      Barkley a viable alternative to Rom?

      Any input appreciated 🙂

        I'm looking forward to Kane's hauls against Palace and Norwich the next 2 weeks. You should too.

        Lukaku Kane Aguero is the way forward, not tempted by Rooney or Costa in the slightest.

          Yea agree about kane, which leaves my final spot down to Lukaku or Rooney.

          I know you are not tempted, but if United are going to score it will most likely be him involved. Lukaku has Mirillas now to try and compete with, for however long he is playing.

          Both have pens.

          Both have 2 home games next, you would think Everton have it easier although Swansea and Newcastle are a bit unpredictable at times.

          Head says Lukaku, heart says Rooney.

        Lukaku for me atm. I think Palace will try and tighten up after thier 4-0 loss to City. West Ham away is a tough one - I'm not convinced enough of Aguero's sharpness to be fixture proof.

        There's no rhyme or reason to defender picks this season...just stick with what you have and hope for the best.
