The top two teams in the Premier League get Gameweek 25 underway this weekend as Manchester City welcome league leaders Leicester to the Etihad. Tottenham look to boost their top-four credentials with a fourth straight win as Watford roll up to White Hart Lane, whilst Southampton seek a fifth successive shut-out as West Ham pay visit to St Mary’s.

Sunday’s pair of fixtures involves a couple of the current top five. Arsenal make their way to Bournemouth, with Arsene Wenger’s side looking to end a run of three goalless league matches, before champions Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge in a late 4pm kick-off.

If you are unfamiliar with FantasyBet, it is particularly accessible for those who play Fantasy Premier League, as it uses a similar scoring system. The players’ prices were originally identical to those of the official game but have now been updated, with players such as Riyad Mahrez and Mesut Ozil now costing 1m more to include in our squads.

This week, FantasyBet are offering a Triple Up Promo – essentially, they will give new sign-ups twice their deposit as a bonus.

Check out this video to see how team creation works.

MY TEAM

Fraser Forster (4.5m)
Alberto Moreno (5m)
Virgil Van Dijk (5.5m)
Toby Alderweireld (5.5m)
Georginio Wijnaldum (6.5m)
Sadio Mane (7.5m)
Roberto Firmino (8m)
Alexis Sanchez (11m)
Jamie Vardy (7.5m)
Harry Kane (9.5m)
Sergio Aguero (13m)

KEY PICKS

Fraser Forster: The Southampton number one’s return from injury has been instrumental to a run of form that has chalked up four straight clean sheets. Forster defied Arsenal with 10 saves at the Etihad on Tuesday and will need to be at his best to nullify West Ham’s in-form attack at St Mary’s tomorrow evening.

Toby Alderweireld: Tottenham’s centre-half offers a strong chance of points at both ends of the pitch this weekend. Alderweireld – who has already produced two goals and three assists – welcomes a Watford side that have failed to score in each of their last two road trips.

Roberto Firmino: The Brazilian looks the man most likely to do the damage as Liverpool host struggling Sunderland at Anfield. Firmino has bagged a brace in two of the last four Gameweeks and will fancy his chances against a Black Cats’ side that boasts the worst away defensive record in the top-flight.

Harry Kane: Four goals and an assist in his last three appearances suggests Kane will be a viable captaincy alternative to Sergio Aguero this week. At home to a Watford defence with a single shut-out in seven, he’ll be confident of adding to his 15 goal-haul so far.

THIS WEEK’S GAME PICKS

As always, the best place to start if you’re new to FantasyBet are the free-rolls – there is a £50 pot available for this Gameweek in both the standard and flash formats.

There’s a Double-Up game for £3.30 entry with a guaranteed prize pool of £120, and also FantasyBet’s biggest weekly game, the Grand Saturday, where your compete for a £1000 guaranteed prize pool on a £5.50 buy in. Multiple entries are available in both.

LAST WEEK

I won £9 in the big midweek pot despite a 59th-placed finish from 70 points – Harry Kane (13 points), Christian Eriksen (11 points) and Aaron Creswell (nine points) were the main contributors. God got first place, captaining Kane and selecting Ross Barkley were the key decisions in a 90-point team. Some other small wins leave me on just under £170.

THIS WEEK’S STAKE

I’m entering the Saturday Double-up, the Grand contest, the free-rolls, the FFScout Picks League and will also have a go at a qualifier to try and win entry into the double grand pot coming up in GW28. This sets me back a total outlay of £10.45.

In addition, I’ll be going up against Beavis, the Community champion in this week’s Scout Picks. He will be taking me on in a specially set up head to head game for a chance to win free entry into a £500 Guaranteed ‘Big Weekly’ game worth £22. Also the eligible Community Champion who beats the Scout Picks by the highest margin every month will win a free entry into the £600 guaranteed ‘Boss’ game worth £55.

FFSCOUT PICKS LEAGUE

Lateriser12 topped the Scout Picks League with a score of 93 points that included six players that scored nine points or more – Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson were his top performers. Once again, FantasyBet have provided a £100 pot for the FFScout Picks League – with a £1.10 stake for entry, it is now possible to enter two teams into this contest. I will enter our Scout Picks as closely as possible, given a 15-man squad is required with the 100m budget and a captain also needs to be selected.

Feel free to go up against them this week and pick your own squad on FantasyBet.

There is not much wrong with that team IMO. sufficient differentials to play catch up. You just need a bit of luck (captaincy choice for eg) each week. A lot depends on what chips you have left and wildcard (if you have it). There will be a lot suffer during weeks 27, 30, 34, 35 and 37 so keep your eye on the ball and plan ahead. There will be a lot of OR changing from now till the end of the season. Good luck for this w/e and rest of GW's.

        Thanks for the replies all.

By that logic should I be starting Hennessey over Butland?

I think there's a slightly higher chance of Palace clean sheet yeah, but they have a fair amount of injuries too and been playing poorly. Plus butland loves his save points... I'd go Henn, just

I'm reluctant to get Sanchez because my ML leader has 100 point lead and has already brought him in. Thibk I should try be different

Silva to Hazard or Oscar. Surely the former can't continue to his dire run of form?

I'm really stuck with this lot as most of them have good fixtures after this one. Any idea will be appreciated..

    Butland - Myhill
    Alderweireld - Mertesacker - Fuchs - Dann - Ake
    Ozil - Mahrez - Arnautovic - Payet - Stanislas
    Kun - Kane - Ighalo

    1 FT & 2 m ITB

I'm leaning towards captaining Kane and benching Myhill - Stanislas - Dann - Ake.

Any changes screaming that I dont see? Maybe Myhill to Forster and bench Butland?

    Hennessey / Butland
    SImpson / Dawson / Bellerin / Ake / Souare
    Ozil / Mahrez / Payet / Alli / Stanislas
    Aguero / Kane / Lukaku
    1 FT & 2.5 ITB

I'm thinking Ozil -> Sanchez .. other suggestions?

Took a chance with Firmino last week and totally regretted it!

I need to shave off .1 for this team to afford Sanchez in for Firmino (2 ft and 2.8 in itb)

    Butland - McCarthy

    Kolarov - Bellerin - Alder - Moreno - Bennett

    Firmino - Ozil - Mahrez - Payet - Watson

    Aguero - Lukaku - Kane

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

Or -4 for this awesome team... (or 0 if I spread it out over next week)

    Forster - McCarthy

    Kolarov - Bellerin - Alder - Moreo - Brothwick

    Sanchez - Ozil - Mahrez - Payet - Watson

    Aguero - Lukak - Kane

It keeps me covered for the blanks, Firmino has Benteke to deal with, I get rid of dead bench wood and get Sanchez in. Butland missing ShawX and Woolshed makes me wana swap him since he's my perma keeper. - Plenty of pros for this option.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Alternatively, I could just get a 3.8 defender and Sanchez in... but not toally sold on it.

Who to bring in to fund getting Sanchez? 4.5m budget.

    A) Schmeichel. Will mean no Vardy from GW27 (would already have triple LEI)
    B) Elliot. Will likely mean Lukaku -> Vardy in GW27

    xxx, Hennessey
    Bellerin, Moreno, Wolly, Simpson, JEvans
    Sanchez, Firmino, Mahrez, Payet, Alli
    Aguero, Lukaku, Kane

    Hi all... Apart from "Bane from Batman" (Thanks Bane) I got no response from previous. So here we go again;

Currently sitting on 2FTs (0.1 itb)... Don't see any pressing issues with my team but would like to not burn a transfer this week, so if poss, try and free up some funds for future planning. Defence a priority.

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
    Henn - Elliot
    Kosc - Cress - Dier - Dawson - Simpson
    Alexis - Ozil - Payet - Mahrez - Alli
    Kun - Kane - Ighalo
    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    Suggestions appreciated and welcome,
