The top two teams in the Premier League get Gameweek 25 underway this weekend as Manchester City welcome league leaders Leicester to the Etihad. Tottenham look to boost their top-four credentials with a fourth straight win as Watford roll up to White Hart Lane, whilst Southampton seek a fifth successive shut-out as West Ham pay visit to St Mary’s.

Sunday’s pair of fixtures involves a couple of the current top five. Arsenal make their way to Bournemouth, with Arsene Wenger’s side looking to end a run of three goalless league matches, before champions Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge in a late 4pm kick-off.

If you are unfamiliar with FantasyBet, it is particularly accessible for those who play Fantasy Premier League, as it uses a similar scoring system. The players’ prices were originally identical to those of the official game but have now been updated, with players such as Riyad Mahrez and Mesut Ozil now costing 1m more to include in our squads.

This week, FantasyBet are offering a Triple Up Promo – essentially, they will give new sign-ups twice their deposit as a bonus.

Check out this video to see how team creation works.

MY TEAM

Fraser Forster (4.5m)
Alberto Moreno (5m)
Virgil Van Dijk (5.5m)
Toby Alderweireld (5.5m)
Georginio Wijnaldum (6.5m)
Sadio Mane (7.5m)
Roberto Firmino (8m)
Alexis Sanchez (11m)
Jamie Vardy (7.5m)
Harry Kane (9.5m)
Sergio Aguero (13m)

KEY PICKS

Fraser Forster: The Southampton number one’s return from injury has been instrumental to a run of form that has chalked up four straight clean sheets. Forster defied Arsenal with 10 saves at the Etihad on Tuesday and will need to be at his best to nullify West Ham’s in-form attack at St Mary’s tomorrow evening.

Toby Alderweireld: Tottenham’s centre-half offers a strong chance of points at both ends of the pitch this weekend. Alderweireld – who has already produced two goals and three assists – welcomes a Watford side that have failed to score in each of their last two road trips.

Roberto Firmino: The Brazilian looks the man most likely to do the damage as Liverpool host struggling Sunderland at Anfield. Firmino has bagged a brace in two of the last four Gameweeks and will fancy his chances against a Black Cats’ side that boasts the worst away defensive record in the top-flight.

Harry Kane: Four goals and an assist in his last three appearances suggests Kane will be a viable captaincy alternative to Sergio Aguero this week. At home to a Watford defence with a single shut-out in seven, he’ll be confident of adding to his 15 goal-haul so far.

THIS WEEK’S GAME PICKS

As always, the best place to start if you’re new to FantasyBet are the free-rolls – there is a £50 pot available for this Gameweek in both the standard and flash formats.

There’s a Double-Up game for £3.30 entry with a guaranteed prize pool of £120, and also FantasyBet’s biggest weekly game, the Grand Saturday, where your compete for a £1000 guaranteed prize pool on a £5.50 buy in. Multiple entries are available in both.

LAST WEEK

I won £9 in the big midweek pot despite a 59th-placed finish from 70 points – Harry Kane (13 points), Christian Eriksen (11 points) and Aaron Creswell (nine points) were the main contributors. God got first place, captaining Kane and selecting Ross Barkley were the key decisions in a 90-point team. Some other small wins leave me on just under £170.

THIS WEEK’S STAKE

I’m entering the Saturday Double-up, the Grand contest, the free-rolls, the FFScout Picks League and will also have a go at a qualifier to try and win entry into the double grand pot coming up in GW28. This sets me back a total outlay of £10.45.

In addition, I’ll be going up against Beavis, the Community champion in this week’s Scout Picks. He will be taking me on in a specially set up head to head game for a chance to win free entry into a £500 Guaranteed ‘Big Weekly’ game worth £22. Also the eligible Community Champion who beats the Scout Picks by the highest margin every month will win a free entry into the £600 guaranteed ‘Boss’ game worth £55.

FFSCOUT PICKS LEAGUE

Lateriser12 topped the Scout Picks League with a score of 93 points that included six players that scored nine points or more – Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson were his top performers. Once again, FantasyBet have provided a £100 pot for the FFScout Picks League – with a £1.10 stake for entry, it is now possible to enter two teams into this contest. I will enter our Scout Picks as closely as possible, given a 15-man squad is required with the 100m budget and a captain also needs to be selected.

Feel free to go up against them this week and pick your own squad on FantasyBet.

Everton vs Stoke should be a good result for Everton I feel.

The Chilean confirmed that six players will miss the game against Claudio Ranieri’s high-flying Foxes.

Wilfried Bony, Kevin De Bruyne, Vincent Kompany, Eliaquim Mangala, Samir Nasri and Jesus Navas are all out of the Premier League game at the Etihad Stadium.

However, there was a positive update on the fitness of the skipper, with Manuel confirming that Vincent should be back in full training next week.

“Kompany and Mangala both started working partially with the squad - unfortunately Mangala has another injury and he’ll be another couple of weeks,” Pellegrini revealed.

“I hope after another week, Vincent will be back working with the squad fully.

“We know exactly what happened with the injury to Vincent now. The risk for the future is exactly the same as it is with every player. It’s important now for Vincent to start playing again as we have just 14 senior players. That’s not so many for so many games.

“Navas has a muscle injury in his hamstring. He’ll be out for a minimum of three weeks.

“We didn’t expect Bony to be out for so long but I hope next Monday we will see a full medical report. He’s improving a lot but it’s an inflammation of the bone which is bringing him a lot of pain. We’ll see if he can start working with the squad next week.”

Pellegrini refused to discuss Pep Guardiola’s summer arrival in any detail but he did put on record how important he feels it is to have the matter out in the open.

The 62-year old just wants to focus on each game, starting with Leicester.

    Joe

“It’s not a relief - it’s important for everyone to know that I know what was happening and that no-one was doing anything behind my back,” Pellegrini said.

“It’s important to talk about this season and not the next one. I’m not talking about those things - we just talk about the present. Just ask me about the team and the game.

“The players must always think about the next game as it’s the only way to be successful. With or without the news, things in football change so quickly.

“It’s the same at every club - the players must know that they must win the next game and that’s why we’re just thinking about Leicester.

More that stats are not absolute but are reasonable assumptions to go forward. Something like not having replays for every decision in football. We know it will ensure very high accuracy, but somehow love the 'real' football with its inaccuracies and less interruptions.

I purchased this product under the impression that, being made with parts of real panther, I could simply apply it and know that in any situation, at any time, it would work, allowing me to introduce more women to the Octagon and his pals James Westfall and Doctor Kenneth Noisewater. I was severely disappointed as, while when the Sex Panther works its magic I have to virtually crowdsurf my way home such is the horde of honeys that surrounds me, it only works about sixty percent of the time. Furthermore, at times when I have even slightly exceeded the recommended application amount, I have been met with comments that suggest I smell of a mixture of faeces and spicy food, or the genitals of a legendary ape.

So, Stoke defensive situation, am I right?

Johnson and Pieters are nailed full backs. Then, Shawcross and Wollscied are the prefered CB's when fit, with Muniesa stepping in when needed?

Next week I'm looking at Dawson --> Stoke defender to cover ML rivals. If Wollscied is fit he is my choice at £4.5m.

    C) DDG & Surman -> Schmeichel & Sanchez

Main issue with C is that it gives me triple LEI without Vardy

    DDG
    Bellerin, Moreno, Wolly
    Firmino, Payet, Alli, Mahrez
    Aguero, Lukaku, Kane

    Hennessey, Simpson, JEvans, Surman
    Bank 5.7m, 2FT

What about C with Elliott? I take it you'll play ddg 90% of the time?

so people say don't take a hit for a keeper
last week I brought in a keeper with FT and got CS.
so I actually got 10 points from the move.

I think if you want a player and think they will improve your overall score in the long term it doesn't matter if it's a keeper or a striker.

Myhill -> Forster for a hit? (Otherwise got Butland)

Would most likely require a hit to get in Forster over the next couple of weeks anyway, if I don't get him now...
