    Who to captain next week? I wonder if there will be a unanimous Kun vote given his record against Spurs. Imo we just have to forget about City being the dominant team in the epl that will regularly score 4 or 5 in home games against even the top 6 teams. This team won't thrash the likes of Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool, Spurs. They barely thrash the relegation teams. First of all, this season is like none we have ever seen. More importantly, Silva,Yaya and Kompany are way way past their prime. With KDB out for a while, they will struggle.

        Sure is. Being constantly injured is part of being past it. Remember how dreadful he was last year too. 5 or 6 good games this year don't mean he is still in his prime.

      Vardy scored 2 fantastic goals against Arsenal last time. He is definitely captaincy material. Payet plays against Norwich, and I find it difficult to see how City will keep Kane or Alli from scoring.

        Against Leceister? Leceister are way tighter that they were when they lost 5-2. Plus they know they are league winner favorites now. They will settle for a point if they have to. They won't play a very open game.

      I wouldn't say Silva is past his prime just yet. But I wouldn't factor in Kun's form against Spurs. Pochettino has totally reshaped the squad.

        Exactly. Spurs are a whole new beast this year. I have to disagree about Silva. No longer the best no 10 in epl. Cannot consistently keep it over a season at least. We might see flashes of brilliance but not week in week out.

    The only comfort I can take from another disappointing g/w is that Moreno will be exiting my squad.
    I don't care that L'pool are at Villa, and I haven't fully decided who I shall be replacing him with. Suffice to say he is possibly the worst transfer I have made over the last five years.

      I captained Mahrez in GW 8 when Aguero scored 5 goals. Mahrez was dropped by tinkerman for that game. Aguero was my VC. I don't know if I'll ever be that lucky.
