So, as it transpires, my conversion to the “dullside” is almost complete. How else can I explain the fact that I appear to have formed a hive mind with Jonty.

Having recently caved in and recruited Sergio Aguero, this episode of the ScoutCast sees things take an even more alarming twist as I find myself replicating Jonty’s thinking – for so long the archetype of a dullard Fantasy Football manager.

Andy can only watch on, doing his best to quell my concerns as the three of us tackle another round of community queries. We talk around ways of breaking out of the template that constrains us, discuss the forthcoming fixture blanks, assess the prospect of doubling up on defences and even consider selling Aguero.

Jonty dismisses the idea and, true to form, I agree with him. How did it come to this?

        1st in my mini league has Kane so trying a differential.

        Fine with my attackers in all honestly, not so much with the midfield, defenders and keeper though.

          I quite like your team. I'm a fan of the arsenal double up in midfield.
          I really would play Ali miles ahead of Payet though. I know folk will argue that Norwich are poor, but I'd say their form is not the issue. The issue is Payet's form. He was better in the cup but was so bad against Soton.

        Not confident about Kun.

    I haven't posted on here in nearly two weeks. And, to be honest, it sucks because of how much this site has come to mean to me. I have gotten great joy out of this website over the years, or should I say "got" (this will make more sense if you read the absolutely ridiculous comments thread I am linking below), both when I lurked in the early days and when I finally decided to create a profile and get into the action. A lot of great discussions, a lot of laughs, and a lot of my time spent answering questions and trying to be of help to people. Yet, with all-too-common regularity, I would find that I would be subject to a silly jab here, a push in the back there and a slap in the face just whenever some ass felt like giving it. Totally unprovoked. No reason whatsoever......except, there is this. Seems to be just about every time that things got ridiculous for me around here, it was a Brit outside of the DZ hours with some kind of attitude against my Americanism. For what it's worth, I don't identify with your average American. Does that make any difference to the lot of you? I have lived a life far different than the stereotype that all the ignoramuses around here tend to link with Americans, and so on and so forth. Woy of the Wovers has been an ass to me more than once for no reason, and to be honest, I would love a face to face with him. Pity I'm on a different continent. But, you see, this is why people like him are so audacious on websites like this. And to all the schmucks who got in on this thread to hand out plus 1's and join in on the ridiculousness, I'd like to meet you all as well. What a lovely time that would be............for me, at least.

          I am rarely on here these days but always liked you and enjoyed chatting with ya. It is a shame when an entire race is stigmatized like that. People are people regardless of the dumb luck of where you were born.
          I find social media really overwhelming and depressing because of these sorts of things. Hard as it is just have discussions with people you actually want to converse with and ignore the rest

        Thanks for the comment, man. You are right. Part of what has bothered me so much about this is how I let it get to me. Guess I just had enough. I should have just left it at my initial response and moved on. But, then you get all the other fanboys, or whatever you wanna call them, chiming in with their tripe. Just made me really feel like an unwanted person around here. And for what this site is meant to be and for what I try to bring to it, I just felt like I had to really step away and think about what I am doing. How else I could better spend my time. And then I watched the Scoutcast and remembered why I love this site. And I remembered all the good people I've had conversations with. Life can just be a bi%ch sometimes, and it really aggravates me when it's a bi%ch for no other reason than some other person just wants to be an a$$hole.
