So, as it transpires, my conversion to the “dullside” is almost complete. How else can I explain the fact that I appear to have formed a hive mind with Jonty.

Having recently caved in and recruited Sergio Aguero, this episode of the ScoutCast sees things take an even more alarming twist as I find myself replicating Jonty’s thinking – for so long the archetype of a dullard Fantasy Football manager.

Andy can only watch on, doing his best to quell my concerns as the three of us tackle another round of community queries. We talk around ways of breaking out of the template that constrains us, discuss the forthcoming fixture blanks, assess the prospect of doubling up on defences and even consider selling Aguero.

Jonty dismisses the idea and, true to form, I agree with him. How did it come to this?

    Well, I've said what I wanted to say on here tonight. Maybe I'll come back around here again. Maybe I won't. I know one thing. I'll cherish all the good memories that came with my FFS experiences over the years. It really can be a good place to hang out. Used to be, anyways. Maybe those days are gone.......................

                  I wouldn't bench Mahrez. He has a high ceiling and his ownership is so vast that if he delivers a haul you could plunge down the rankings.

                  However, if OR doesn't matter to you...

                        That makes more sense to me LR than Mahrez, but I still included him because he is the second most highly owned player in the league. I'd rather gamble with Ozil than Mahrez I think.

                        They seem such bad fixtures to play an AOA in, but I've long thought that chip is better for wriggling out of a bad defensive situation than trying for extra attacking returns so maybe it would work.

    I don't understand why people are using transfers this week other than injury or having 2 free transfers. The FA cup will determine GW30 and it maybe unwise to use transfers now.

        This I understand but surely you would like the choice to be greater. The Chelsea City game is pivotal on the future as Could be Bournemouth Everton. Let us say City and Everton get through. then I would like 3 players having double DGW's on the bench GW 30.

            I think it's playing with fire to remove an in form Aguero. I can see the appeal for this week, but you may want Aguero back after the blank and do you have the FTs (or cajones) to be making those luxury moves with GW30 looming large?

            Normal service should be resumed soon hopefully - I've had some other things going on and there's been some short turn around time between gameweeks.

              yep I may need him but after Liv game 🙂 so it's for two weeks I did walker→VVD and saving 1ft for GW30 btw
