Gareth McAuley is ruled out of West Brom’s trip to Everton. Roberto Martinez also has concerns at the back for the Goodison encounter. Alex Song is fit for West Ham’s trip to Norwich, Matt Targett is passed fit as Southampton head to the Liberty, whilst Sunderland’s injury list continues to grow ahead of tomorrow’s lunchtime clash with United.

John Stones and Tim Howard remain doubts for Everton’s clash with West Brom tomorrow. Roberto Martinez has revealed that he is hopeful the duo will return to full training before facing late assessments. Mo Besic is still unavailable, though new boy Oumar Niasse is expected to be in the mix as he steps up his fitness levels.

Alex Song is available for West Ham’s trip to Norwich after recovering from a midweek knock sustained in the cup win over Liverpool. Cheikhou Kouyate misses out after being forced off with concussion on Tuesday, whilst Winston Reid and Joey O’Brien are set for hamstring scans – the duo also picked up problems against Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Emmanuel Adebayor will “definitely start” for Palace at home to Watford, Alan Pardew has confirmed. The Eagles boss reckons Dwight Gayle is “hopefully available” after stepping up his fitness in training, whilst Connor Wickham returns from a three-match suspension. Bakary Sako and Yannick Bolasie are expected to return for next week’s FA Cup clash with Tottenham.

Matt Targett and Steven Davis are available for Southampton’s trip to Swansea, though Victor Wanyama misses out – the Kenyan starts the first of a five-match ban this weekend.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Arsenal have no new injuries, with the Gunners boss naming the same squad for Sunday’s home match against Leicester.

Mark Hughes is optimistic on the fitness of Jon Walters, who missed Stoke’s loss to Everton through illness. Ryan Shawcross and Geoff Cameron miss out again, though the Potters boss hopes to have the duo back by Gameweek 27.

Younes Kaboul and Duncan Watmore (ankle problems) and Jeremain Lens (hernia) are ruled out of Sunderland’s clash with United. Billy Jones (hip) is a doubt for the visit of United, though Fabio Borini is back in the squad after recovering from illness.

Tony Pulis has confirmed that Gareth McAuley is ruled out of West Brom’s trip to Everton with a hamstring problem. The Baggies boss revealed that Chris Brunt and Jonny Evans are getting closer to a return, whilst Craig Dawson has a chance of making it this weekend.

Ki Sung-Yueng is available for Swansea’s home clash with Southampton – the Korean missed the previous match after being forced off with concussion in the Gameweek 24 draw at West Brom.

Troy Deeney and Valon Behrami are fit enough to start as Watford head to Selhurst Park – the pair were handed sub roles in last week’s loss at Spurs due to fatigue. Centre-half Miguel Britos is a doubt, though, due to a leg injury sustained at the Lane.

Jack Colback and Emmanuel Riviere have trained all week and are included in the Newcastle squad that heads to Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

Does this look like the right line up for this week?

    De Gea

    Azpi, Alderweireld, Koscielny
    Payet, Mahrez, Ozil, Barkley
    Kane, Aguero, Lukaku

    Butland, Gosling, Targett, Simpson

    GW27 Lukaku -> Vardy

No. You will need transfers. Save them for GW30.

GW30 is too far ahead. You only need to save a transfer in GW29 to have the maximum number of free transfers in GW30. Focus on GW27 for this week

What if we need to transfer out an injured player in GW29. Need to save whenever we have the luxury

          Disagree.

Having 10-11 players in GW30 could be a great way of making up ground.

          1. Pooodle
            10 years, 8 months ago

Yeah but if you save transfers now it doesn't necessarily have any impact on GW30 - you can only have a max of 2 FTs in one week. So you can make transfers now and then make none in GW29 and you'd be in the same position. You might get an injured player every week so that's not a consideration really

Plan B is to bench Sanchez. I prefer plan A very slightly. Sunderland playing a bit better these days.

Lingard has done ok in the last few games but doesn't look all that threatening. He did basically nothing against Chelsea apart from his goal which was a complete wonder strike. I'd feel ok benching him this week over your others

Need some help folks. Defence is giving me nightmares. I have 1 FT. Do I save and hope either Targett or Mertesacker play this weekend and then see what happens in the FA cup for GW30 blanks etc or do I pull the trigger on Mertesacker for a Chelsea defender for the next 4 at least?

    Elliot Henn
    Mertesacker Souare Simpson Moreno Targett
    Sanchez Alli Ozil Payet Mahrez
    Kun Kane Vardy

    1. SH@KTIMAAN

2FT, so thinking Dawson to Ivanovic?
    Also who to bench?!

    Hennessey
    Bellerin / VVD / Huth
    Alli / Firmino / Mahrez / Ozil
    Kane / Aguero / Ighalo

    (Antonio / Dier / Dawson / Butland)

    1. Teddy Brewski

Dawson to Azpi. Don't think Ivanovic is worth 1m

Seems like Rooney is being massively overlooked on here.

I think I prefer his as an option to Costa, possibly this week but also longer term. Fixtures are as good if not better, and no CL distractions.

    2. Pooodle
      10 years, 8 months ago

I think for his price the worry is that United are not scoring that many. I struggle to see that getting him in ahead of Aguero, Kane, Vardy or Lukaku is a good shout

      1. Takamba
        10 years, 8 months ago

But they have started scoring...and when Rooney hits a purple patch, we know what he is like

        2. Springbank
          10 years, 8 months ago

It's a tuff call. Either him or Ozil imo.

          I have this:

          Payet Barkley Alli Sanchez
          Aguero Kane Vardy

I'm benching Mahrez at the moment having played him last week and had Vardy on the bench..

I know it means little but Ranieri is managing Mahrez fitness which means he'll play 70-80 mins max

    Morning one and all...

...So, taking into consideration the midweek cup games, and after reading Perchinho's great "DGW/Blank" article...

...Are we any clearer on what 'other' clubs are playing GW30 at all?

Sorry, I know I sound like a right noob right now, but I've been soooo busy of late.

    Much appreciated 🙂

With a little delving, I've just found out myself... WBA still need to win next game, as do WHU (need to beat Blackburn)

      Sorry to waste your time

Klopp: "Dejan Lovren is not back for Aston Villa but hopefully for the next game. He has a strange feeling in the muscle. Steven Caulker had a back problem but yesterday he trained normal. Jordan Rossiter is still not back in team training. Cameron Brannagan lost two or three kilos while injured. Now we need to feed him."

Gives you a nice captain option this week, but burns through a FT, and Liv blanks gw27 and maybe gw30. Prolly "nay".
