The Premier League have announced a number of rearranged fixtures this afternoon, affording Fantasy managers plenty of time to now plan and prepare around the upcoming double Gameweeks 34 and 37.

Gameweek 34

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, April 19 – Newcastle vs Man City

Wednesday, April 20 – Liverpool vs Everton, Man United vs Crystal Palace, West Ham vs Watford,

Thursday, April 21 – Arsenal vs West Brom.

Gameweek 37

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, May 10 – West Ham vs Man United

Wednesday, May 11 – Liverpool vs Chelsea, Norwich vs Watford, Sunderland vs Everton.

Schedule Re-cap

Long story short, then, five teams – Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in Gameweek 34 and 37.

United, West Ham, Everton, Palace, Norwich and Watford have no fixture in Gameweek 35, however, due to the FA Cup schedule.

Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double apiece, in Gameweek 34.

Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.

This leaves Everton’s clash with Palace, which was originally pencilled in for Gameweek 35, as the only fixture yet to be rearranged. This is due to the fact that the pair go head-to-head in the FA Cup semi-finals that weekend.

We’ll go into much more detail in future articles but here’s a quick check on what today’s announcement means..

Man City’s trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 34 is preceded by a trip to Chelsea that weekend but the surrounding fixtures are due to promote big investment, with a favourable (WBA, che &new, STO) run between Gameweek 33 and 35.

Newcastle, meanwhile, also host Swansea at St James in Gameweek 34, with a home clash against Palace and trip to Villa in their subsequent three.

United are handed a very promising pair of Gameweek 34 fixtures, with back-to-back home encounters against Villa and Palace. The downside, though, is that they face a blank the following week. Their Gameweek 37 double consists of trips to Norwich and West Ham.

Liverpool look ripe for investment as we prepare for our wildcards, with their schedule from Gameweek 33 onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.

In addition to their two doubles and yet-to-be-schedule clash with Palace, Everton also host Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich in the final five Gameweeks.

Arsenal, meanwhile, play twice at the Emirates in Gameweek 34, as Palace and West Brom pay visit. The Baggies precede their trip to north London with a home match against Watford.

Palace’s double in Gameweek 34 (ars, mun) will struggle to persuade many suitors, though that game in hand against Everton could come in handy further down the line.

West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home encounter with Watford in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then blank the following week but a pair of home matches in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN) is bound to see significant investment, bearing in mind that these are the Hammers’ final two matches at Upton Park before moving ground in the summer.

Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34 (wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv, nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35. Chelsea also play twice in their double Gameweek 37, making their way to Sunderland and Liverpool.

Elsewhere in Gameweek 37, relegation candidates Norwich (MUN, WAT) and Sunderland (CHE, EVE) are both handed home matches that look vital to their survival hopes.

*We’ll be updating our fixture ticker later today in light of the news and roll out Scouting the Doubles articles nearer the time.

Everyone's going double crazy but can we talk about single gameweek players / teams worth keeping?

A lot have 6 Spurs and Lei assets - how many of them are worth keeping?

Mahrez? Kane? 1 def? If so, which defense?

I will keep Mahrez, that´s for sure but then I don´t have money for Kane and no one else worthy keeping.

Mahrez, LEI defender (They have SWA in GW35)

If you have someone other than Toby as a TOIT defender (i.e. cheaper) they may be worth keeping too as they have WBA in 35

I have wayyyy too much money invested in Alder (5.1) and Mahrez (5.6) to get rid. Other than that I may be tempted to keep Kane and Fuchs

    Repost.

Hey guys, does anyone else think TC in gw34, WC in 36, BB in 37 is the best way to go?

Don't have to lose LEI and TOT players for their good fixtures and can TC Arsenal player in gw 34 with good fixtures instead of using BB.

Great article Doolittle, sorry I'm a bit late to comment! I almost did the same (Kane --> Kun) but decided to ignore the compulsion - it's cost me many points this year, the last minute rush to play safe!

And I'm in the same position (ish) as you and also broke 20k this weekend! (17,974)!

Let's smash it at the business end of the season 🙂

Cities title hopes are dead. They have tough games in the DGWs. They will still be in champions league so players could be rested. Struggling to get a wild card team because of funds.

Dropping Kun will be the key to a rise in the rankings with our wildcards.

Holding on to him will be very prohibitive with team structure.

Hey guys, does anyone else think TC in gw34, WC in 36, BB in 37 is the best way to go?

Don't have to lose LEI and TOT players for their good fixtures and can TC Arsenal player in gw 34 with good fixtures instead of using BB.

                We don't know the answer.
                Most people are going 33.

                Depends on your squad really.

I can only get 8DGWers in 34 with no hits. Would I rather have 3 more with a WC or 3 LEI/TOT - their fixtures in 34 aren't great either.

A GW33 WC you can BB 15 DGW 34 and have 11 DGW 37 without taking a hit I believe.

Yeah. Looked into that long and hard. Then went back to my 3 Chelsea.

Main reason being I really can't even drop a defender this week if I did get PVA. And then Azpi v Villa looks slightly stronger than PVA v WBA with Rondon's new threat

PVA 11 goal attempts in the past 11 weeks. Never afraid to shoot. Could easily nick a goal or two!

Yeah, I know, I know. It tempted me sorely. But I'm going Siggy(c) so I felt it was a punt too far

Gk pair sorted. Elliot and Robles = 8.3

Both have dgw34, Elliot plays in gw35, Robles dgw37.

Don't like their matches much at all though. Everton - SOU, liv; Newcastle - SWA, mci.
Everton no 35, Newcastle at Anfield...
United and Arsenal look much better with two home. One of them could outscore Everton & Newcastle combined.

If you could build this team, wouldn't you prefer that partnership...

                de Gea - Cech
                Clyne - Bellerin - Kompany - Dawson - Rojo
                Firmino - Payet - Milner - Mahrez - Ozil
                Aguero - Lukaku - Rondon

I would never normally spend that much on a goalkeeping pairing, but I have the funds and don't fancy Studge, Sanchez and Co.
