The Premier League have announced a number of rearranged fixtures this afternoon, affording Fantasy managers plenty of time to now plan and prepare around the upcoming double Gameweeks 34 and 37.

Gameweek 34

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, April 19 – Newcastle vs Man City

Wednesday, April 20 – Liverpool vs Everton, Man United vs Crystal Palace, West Ham vs Watford,

Thursday, April 21 – Arsenal vs West Brom.

Gameweek 37

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, May 10 – West Ham vs Man United

Wednesday, May 11 – Liverpool vs Chelsea, Norwich vs Watford, Sunderland vs Everton.

Schedule Re-cap

Long story short, then, five teams – Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in Gameweek 34 and 37.

United, West Ham, Everton, Palace, Norwich and Watford have no fixture in Gameweek 35, however, due to the FA Cup schedule.

Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double apiece, in Gameweek 34.

Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.

This leaves Everton’s clash with Palace, which was originally pencilled in for Gameweek 35, as the only fixture yet to be rearranged. This is due to the fact that the pair go head-to-head in the FA Cup semi-finals that weekend.

We’ll go into much more detail in future articles but here’s a quick check on what today’s announcement means..

Man City’s trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 34 is preceded by a trip to Chelsea that weekend but the surrounding fixtures are due to promote big investment, with a favourable (WBA, che &new, STO) run between Gameweek 33 and 35.

Newcastle, meanwhile, also host Swansea at St James in Gameweek 34, with a home clash against Palace and trip to Villa in their subsequent three.

United are handed a very promising pair of Gameweek 34 fixtures, with back-to-back home encounters against Villa and Palace. The downside, though, is that they face a blank the following week. Their Gameweek 37 double consists of trips to Norwich and West Ham.

Liverpool look ripe for investment as we prepare for our wildcards, with their schedule from Gameweek 33 onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.

In addition to their two doubles and yet-to-be-schedule clash with Palace, Everton also host Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich in the final five Gameweeks.

Arsenal, meanwhile, play twice at the Emirates in Gameweek 34, as Palace and West Brom pay visit. The Baggies precede their trip to north London with a home match against Watford.

Palace’s double in Gameweek 34 (ars, mun) will struggle to persuade many suitors, though that game in hand against Everton could come in handy further down the line.

West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home encounter with Watford in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then blank the following week but a pair of home matches in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN) is bound to see significant investment, bearing in mind that these are the Hammers’ final two matches at Upton Park before moving ground in the summer.

Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34 (wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv, nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35. Chelsea also play twice in their double Gameweek 37, making their way to Sunderland and Liverpool.

Elsewhere in Gameweek 37, relegation candidates Norwich (MUN, WAT) and Sunderland (CHE, EVE) are both handed home matches that look vital to their survival hopes.

*We’ll be updating our fixture ticker later today in light of the news and roll out Scouting the Doubles articles nearer the time.

    WC for GW33

    Robles Elliot

Here's the GW34 team I can get for no hits and saving WC for 36. Can carry 2 FT into 35.

Only concern would be Gabriel. Thoughts?

    DDG
    Kompany, Gabriel, Dann
    Silva, Ozil, Payet, Firmino
    Kun, Lukaku, Martial

    Elliot, Mahrez, Williams, Simpson

What are those (like me) who don't have a Wildcard left gonna' do for the Double Game Weeks and BLANK week in GW 35?

Yeah, something will throw a spanner in the works. Although a couple of hits, if necessary, aren't the end of the world. The trickiest part is getting guys who don't blank in 35.

    Moreno / Rojo / Kompany / Bellerin / Monreal
    Ozil / Payet / Firmino / Lingaard / Silva
    Aguero / Lukaku / Deeney

    What I'm getting is:

    GW34 - 15 DGW'ers
    GW35 - 2 transfers to get a playing XI
    GW37 - 6 DGW'ers

Ideally, I would like to replace one of Rojo/Payet/Lingaard/Lukaku/Deeney (can be in conjunction with changes among the other guys).

I think you're right TM - but it looks like a lot (maybe most) of the WC33ers aren't going for 15 DGWers anyway - as they're looking to keep a couple of Spuds and Foxes. I have thought all along that 15 DGWers is the impossible dream.

If you're sensible, 37 could be easier to get a better yield for BB.

For example, tripling up on Everton before a cup final would be silly in 37, but if United/West Ham/Liverpool have nothing else to play for and are all battling for the final European spot? Could be good to focus on them. Not to forget relegation battle, Sunderland and Norwich will provide cheap options for points IMO.

HOWEVER, all depends on how the Prem pans out over the next few weeks, it could all be settled by then.

I think we are all in danger of over thinking and over planning this.

I'm thinking of getting the best possible 15 I can and bench boosting and then taking some points hits to ensure I get out 11 in gw 35 or not worry if I have 9 and only 1 defender...

Hit or miss. If your trailing, it's a great punt

          Ive done it!

          A respectable GW33 WC team with a selling value of 101.8 !!

          Robles Elliot
          Monreal McAuley Simpson Clyne Moreno
          Ozil Payet Firmino Lingard Sanchez
          Aguero Lukaku Ighalo

          14 DGWrs
3 outfield players missing in 35

          Thoughts?

Ighalo to Deeney and swap Simpson for a DGWer

WC33 so I will have 3FT until then.

          Butland McCarthy
          Kosc VVD Wolly TobyA Daniels
          Mahrez Payet Silva Arnie Siggy
          Kane Aguero Vardy

Kosc/Wolly/VVD > Williams this GW seems at obvious choice.

Then save my other in case of injuries over the international break?

Elliot is the key for GW34 it seems

one of Robles, Migs or DDG to go with him

That is what I am on

just need to find my last defender

was on Fuenes Mori but it means going into 35 with 10

I am considering Not considering Cech + Robles, if Kosc is back.

Yeah, Bellerin + DDG is probably better than Cech + Smalling, cheaper too.

If the rest of the season is anything to go by then the best way to deal with the doubles is to not realise they exist and coast along like an A class casual.

Last 4 GWs has shown that this method won't work.

I agree with TM...Only because of being aware about gw 30 blanks and matches around i was able to jump from 350k to 120k in 4 Gws...10k may just be possible

          As I don't have BB

          Elliot/Ruddy a decent combo?

          Gw34: SWA, MCI
          Gw35: liv
          Gw36: CPL
          Gw37: MUN, WAT

Who are the most viable TC candidates in 37? Firmino and Payet look the best options to me.

May be a stupid question, but can you not use your WC and BB in the same gameweek (i.e. 34?)
