The Premier League have announced a number of rearranged fixtures this afternoon, affording Fantasy managers plenty of time to now plan and prepare around the upcoming double Gameweeks 34 and 37.

Gameweek 34

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, April 19 – Newcastle vs Man City

Wednesday, April 20 – Liverpool vs Everton, Man United vs Crystal Palace, West Ham vs Watford,

Thursday, April 21 – Arsenal vs West Brom.

Gameweek 37

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, May 10 – West Ham vs Man United

Wednesday, May 11 – Liverpool vs Chelsea, Norwich vs Watford, Sunderland vs Everton.

Schedule Re-cap

Long story short, then, five teams – Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in Gameweek 34 and 37.

United, West Ham, Everton, Palace, Norwich and Watford have no fixture in Gameweek 35, however, due to the FA Cup schedule.

Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double apiece, in Gameweek 34.

Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.

This leaves Everton’s clash with Palace, which was originally pencilled in for Gameweek 35, as the only fixture yet to be rearranged. This is due to the fact that the pair go head-to-head in the FA Cup semi-finals that weekend.

We’ll go into much more detail in future articles but here’s a quick check on what today’s announcement means..

Man City’s trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 34 is preceded by a trip to Chelsea that weekend but the surrounding fixtures are due to promote big investment, with a favourable (WBA, che &new, STO) run between Gameweek 33 and 35.

Newcastle, meanwhile, also host Swansea at St James in Gameweek 34, with a home clash against Palace and trip to Villa in their subsequent three.

United are handed a very promising pair of Gameweek 34 fixtures, with back-to-back home encounters against Villa and Palace. The downside, though, is that they face a blank the following week. Their Gameweek 37 double consists of trips to Norwich and West Ham.

Liverpool look ripe for investment as we prepare for our wildcards, with their schedule from Gameweek 33 onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.

In addition to their two doubles and yet-to-be-schedule clash with Palace, Everton also host Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich in the final five Gameweeks.

Arsenal, meanwhile, play twice at the Emirates in Gameweek 34, as Palace and West Brom pay visit. The Baggies precede their trip to north London with a home match against Watford.

Palace’s double in Gameweek 34 (ars, mun) will struggle to persuade many suitors, though that game in hand against Everton could come in handy further down the line.

West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home encounter with Watford in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then blank the following week but a pair of home matches in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN) is bound to see significant investment, bearing in mind that these are the Hammers’ final two matches at Upton Park before moving ground in the summer.

Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34 (wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv, nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35. Chelsea also play twice in their double Gameweek 37, making their way to Sunderland and Liverpool.

Elsewhere in Gameweek 37, relegation candidates Norwich (MUN, WAT) and Sunderland (CHE, EVE) are both handed home matches that look vital to their survival hopes.

*We’ll be updating our fixture ticker later today in light of the news and roll out Scouting the Doubles articles nearer the time.

For all those who are thinking of wc36 here are the defensive options you can consider while building your squad for gw34.
    *=home fixture

    1.Mun gw34 cpl* avl* blank 35
Their fixtures are bad before 34 and they have a blank in 35 so not worthy of getting in a def. But ddg will rotate nicely for just 34 and those fixtures are juicy.
    Possible players : ddg

    2.Mcl gw34 new chel
Again chel match is tough but they will have no blank in 35 and face nor mun bou wba before 34 so 100% worth taking.
    Possible players: hart kompany otamendi.

    3.liv gw34 eve* bou
Given that they have no blank and also face stoke before and have more dgw we should have atleast 1 player even if that has to be a troller.
    Possible players :moreno, clyne

    4. Eve gw34 liv sou* blank 35
Now they dont keep cleanies but those fixtures are too good to turn down adding to it they have wat sou before cheap buys would be great.
    Possible players :robles funes mori

    5.cpl gw 34 mun ars* blank 35
Now this is one team we should not be heading towards they have a gw 35 blank and also face lie whu before so no investment is recommended.
    Possible players: -

    6.ars gw 34 wba*cry*
The fixtures are good and they also face wat whu before so investment is recommended but they may have a blank in gw35. Many may have ars covered already with bellerin.
    Possible Players :bellerin

    7. Wba gw 34 ars wat*
The fixtures are bad, they also face mci before but they have no blank. Still with all the options available wba is a no go.
Possible players : - dawson ( only for no blank 35)

    8.whu gw 34 wat*lei blank 35
Now the fixtures are bad and they also face ars chel before and also 35 blank so no investment is recommended.
    Possible players: -

    9.wat gw34 whu wba blank 35
Fixtures are ok but they face eve ars before but no blank 35 may have many intrested.
Possible players : ake (only for no blank 35)

    10. New gw 34 mcl swa*
Mcl is obviously a bad fixture but no blank 35 and that they face sun nor sou before makes it a must have.
    Possible players: elliot janmatt

To sum it up possible targets are
    Gks
    Ddg(b) hart
    Robles(b) elliot
    Defs
    kompany otamendi bellerin
    Moreno clyne funesmori(b) janmatt
    Dawson ake
It will be important to get dgw34 with no blank pleyers
Most will have bellerin/cech kompany/ hart
I.e arsenal and city coverage that leaves two more players to be chosen out of moreno clyne dawson ake

Although this is fairly basic it shows you which teams have doubles in both 34+37 and who is blanking in 35 - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1iiPtm0AIS70qR0yeur9shrsMi8UBFQ3JRzpP-cnzBaU/edit#gid=0

Everton FA Cup semi final comes only a few days after their DGW in 34. So there could be some rested in those 2 games befor the cup.

I may only get one Toffee for the first DGW or Robles plus Lukaku.

I'm struggling to make a transfer. Have 2 frees and currently benching Alli.

I think I may have to plan and just get in a player I know I want whose price will rise and still bench them.

May just do Eriksen to Firmino and be done with it.

I'm in the same position, there's no one I want this week and feel like it's a waste of a transfer saving it if I'm using my wildcard in GW33.

If Traore plays and looks good this weekend I might do Siggy to him next week

        - Dont have to lose LEI and TOT players
        - You have more time to see how the league shakes out, who's on fire, who replaces who due to injures, etc.
        - You won't be affected by the GW35 blank with proper planning
        - Only ONE week with an unbalnced team (GW38), which is usually a lottery anyways.

I can keep Simson/Mahrez and Kane (if I want) and have 12 GDW's for 34

Bottomed on last page ... Facts to consider:

      1. I think dgw37 will be more prone to rotation, being so close to the season end/nothing to play for.
      2. With the eve-cpl match yet to be rearranged, we might still see a t(riple)gw for eve ... Triple lukaku?
      3. If you wc in gw33 and bring in 15 dgwers including say 3 each from liv, mc and arse, + maybe dawson (wba) ... thats 10 players who will also have gw35.
      4. For your remaining 5 players, choose from eve, mu, wes, wat and cpl. Shouldnt be too difficult.
      5. So full 15 dgwers for 34, and obviously use bb.
      6. Save ft in gw34. Then in gw35, change 2 players from (4) above to whoever has fixtures in gw35. You will then have 12 players for gw35 ... enough to field a decent 11 i think.
      7. For (6) above, the 2 players you change preferably should also have dgw37 i.e. che and sun players.
      8. If you have played it smart for dgw37, you would have 3 liv (from step 3), 3 various (from step 4 - 6), and 2 (from step 7 which is actually a smart step 6 🙂 ). Thats eight dgw37 players already.
      9. Use your fts in gw36 and 37 to get in 2 more, or take a hit even to field 11 dgw37 players!

      Downsides/dangers:
      1. Injuries/suspensions/ rotation not taken into account.
      2. To do this means selling mahrez, vardy, kane, aldy, alli, butland etc in your gw33 wildcard. Worth it?

Vardy, Kane, Alli - the best 3 english attacking players this season i think we would all agree.

How many will be in Roys first XI for the Euros?

Or will it be the usual suspects of Milner/Henderson/Rooney/Walcott - i fear Roy will go for the latter which failed before.

I support them and would struggle to guarantee 3 to figure all games of the DGW s.
