The Premier League have announced a number of rearranged fixtures this afternoon, affording Fantasy managers plenty of time to now plan and prepare around the upcoming double Gameweeks 34 and 37.

Gameweek 34

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, April 19 – Newcastle vs Man City

Wednesday, April 20 – Liverpool vs Everton, Man United vs Crystal Palace, West Ham vs Watford,

Thursday, April 21 – Arsenal vs West Brom.

Gameweek 37

The following fixtures were previously postponed due to domestic cup matches but have now been added:

Tuesday, May 10 – West Ham vs Man United

Wednesday, May 11 – Liverpool vs Chelsea, Norwich vs Watford, Sunderland vs Everton.

Schedule Re-cap

Long story short, then, five teams – Liverpool, Watford, Everton, West Ham and Man United – have doubles in Gameweek 34 and 37.

United, West Ham, Everton, Palace, Norwich and Watford have no fixture in Gameweek 35, however, due to the FA Cup schedule.

Arsenal, West Brom, Newcastle, Man City and Crystal Palace have one double apiece, in Gameweek 34.

Chelsea, Sunderland and Norwich have one double apiece, in Gameweek 37.

This leaves Everton’s clash with Palace, which was originally pencilled in for Gameweek 35, as the only fixture yet to be rearranged. This is due to the fact that the pair go head-to-head in the FA Cup semi-finals that weekend.

We’ll go into much more detail in future articles but here’s a quick check on what today’s announcement means..

Man City’s trip to Newcastle in Gameweek 34 is preceded by a trip to Chelsea that weekend but the surrounding fixtures are due to promote big investment, with a favourable (WBA, che &new, STO) run between Gameweek 33 and 35.

Newcastle, meanwhile, also host Swansea at St James in Gameweek 34, with a home clash against Palace and trip to Villa in their subsequent three.

United are handed a very promising pair of Gameweek 34 fixtures, with back-to-back home encounters against Villa and Palace. The downside, though, is that they face a blank the following week. Their Gameweek 37 double consists of trips to Norwich and West Ham.

Liverpool look ripe for investment as we prepare for our wildcards, with their schedule from Gameweek 33 onwards (STO, bou & EVE, NEW, swa, WAT & CHE, wba) looking very promising.

In addition to their two doubles and yet-to-be-schedule clash with Palace, Everton also host Southampton, Bournemouth and Norwich in the final five Gameweeks.

Arsenal, meanwhile, play twice at the Emirates in Gameweek 34, as Palace and West Brom pay visit. The Baggies precede their trip to north London with a home match against Watford.

Palace’s double in Gameweek 34 (ars, mun) will struggle to persuade many suitors, though that game in hand against Everton could come in handy further down the line.

West Ham’s trip to Leicester in Gameweek 34 has now been softened by a home encounter with Watford in the same round of fixtures. Like United, they then blank the following week but a pair of home matches in Gameweek 37 (SWA, MUN) is bound to see significant investment, bearing in mind that these are the Hammers’ final two matches at Upton Park before moving ground in the summer.

Watford hit the road in all four of their double fixtures – Gameweek 34 (wba, whu), Gameweek 37 (liv, nor) – and also blank in Gameweek 35. Chelsea also play twice in their double Gameweek 37, making their way to Sunderland and Liverpool.

Elsewhere in Gameweek 37, relegation candidates Norwich (MUN, WAT) and Sunderland (CHE, EVE) are both handed home matches that look vital to their survival hopes.

*We’ll be updating our fixture ticker later today in light of the news and roll out Scouting the Doubles articles nearer the time.

I can field 11 for GW 34, but I have BB if I use that it would mean selling Kane Mahrez etc.

These are players I would like to have for GW 35. It makes me feel like just using BB in a normal gameweek!

It's important to keep in mind Gw33 fixtures as well when we'll wildcard. Who has the best fixtures:

    Liverpool home vs stoke
    MAN CITY vs West Brom

ManU has a difficult fixture at Spurs, Arsenal and West Ham play eachothers.

    So many variables!!
Also to considerer in Gw 33 would you really drop Mahrez who faces Sunderland?

Scenario 1 - WC in 33 to the following

    DDG, Mingolet
    Bellerin, Kompany, Moreno, Coleman, Janamat
    KDB, Ozil, Payet, Firmino, Antonio
    Kun, Lukaku, Deeney

2 FT to 11 for GW35 leaving 2 more FT to get to 10 DGW players for 37

    Mingolet
    Janamat, Coleman, Moreno
    Payet, Firmino, Barkley, Willian
    Lukaku, Martial, Deeney

    DDG, Ozil, Kompany, Bellerin

    VS

Scenario 2 - Using FTs to get 11 DGW 34 players

    DDG
    Bellerin, Kompany, Dann
    Silva, Ozil, Payet, FIrmino
    Aguero, Lukaku, Rondon

    Elliot, WIlliams, Simpson, Mahrez

Then WC in 36 to get 15 for 37

    DDG, Mingolet
    Ivan/Azpil, Smalling, Baines, Cresswell, PVA
    Barkley, WIllian, Firmino, Payet, Antonio
    Struridge/Martial, Lukaku, Defoe/Ighalo/Deeney

Currently 55 points behind in ML and 50 behind second

    First: triple captain only left
    Second: TC and WC left
Me: BB, TC and WC left

I suspect they will TC in GW34 as more choice and probably Aguero or ozil

What's my best bet? I'm thinking WC GW33 and then BB gw34 with 15 double GW-ers with two FTs for gw35 And bench the likes of Payet and lukaku then triple captain in gw37, possibly Payet

The first three's minutes concern me a little......

Lingard could be dropped/rested in favour of Rashford on the wing.
Varela could be dropped for Darmian
Ihanacho poor choice. Unlikely to start even one of the DGW games

    Wildcard 33. Bench Boost 34.

3 Pool. 3 City. 2 Arsenal. 2 West Bromwich. 2 Everton. 1 Watford. Payet. Mahrez.

    Boom.

4 free transfers to get 11 doubles out for 37 as well.
