Hello and welcome back to the FFS UEFA Champion’s League tournament! This week we find out which teams were successful in advancing through to the Quarterfinals. The latest results can be found here.
Sixteen teams fought valiantly through tough opposition in the hope of reaching the finals but only eight survived. Fantasy Football veteran HVT clinched victory over TLK42 in the second leg of their tie and continued his fantastic form of the season. He will go up against Daniel Levy in the Quarterfinals, who was lucky to advance by beating I am not for Kinnear on away goals scored.
Elsewhere, Rodallegabomb successfully managed to halt Zombie’s undefeated streak and beat him by a single point. The loss will be a heavy one no doubt but both teams played exceptionally well. He will need a few of his signature drinks as he comes up against Irish Madridista, who has proved to be full of punts and surprises in this tournament.
In the bottom half of the draw, Saniul claimed an easy win over Aliminator to book his place in the Quarterfinals, whilst the ever impressive Lucy swept aside Numb. She will now go head-to-head with Saniul, in what looks to be an exciting encounter.
Last but not least, Have No Clue had some clue as he narrowly defeated Guy Demels SH by a couple of points to proceed into the next round. He will square off against Mata is the Juan, who proved to be the one as he defeated Eduardo Cruz to secure his spot in the Quarterfinals.
The first and second legs of the Quarter Finals will take place on Gameweeks 31 & 32 respectively and the team with the highest aggregate score from both will go through. In the event of a tie, the team that has scored the most away goals will progress. If this factor is also tied, then the draw will follow the standard Fantasy Premier League H2H tiebreakers.
Many congratulations to all of you who took part in this tournament and a big thanks to everyone who involved. I hope we have a fascinating conclusion to the competition. Let us know your thoughts on the latest set of fixtures in the comments.
