Looking at playing wc 33 and then bench boost 34 with 12 dgw players

    De Gea, Mignolet
    Smalling, Bellerin, Moreno, Monreal, Morgan
    Payet, Mahrez, Firmino, Ozil, Lingard
    Lukaku, Defoe, Aguero

Like it, bar doubling up on three defences, particularly Liverpool's.

Iv pulled it and it feels good

      Catch all these price rises.
My team for gw32 looks much better too. And we get an extra emergency FT between now and 34

Yep. If u Wc in 33 u cant spend ur FT before 34 in order to have 2 FTs for the 35 blank.
WC now and ul have 2 FT by 34 if needed

I'm doing that. Beats price rises and allows me to bring in lots of Arsenal and west ham for their nice gw32 fixture. Gw 33 is horrible for every team, no real bankers. And you get an extra ft over 33 wildcarders

    1. Calm
      • 12 Years
      10 years, 3 months ago

Not a myth exactly. Whenever Dembele plays, Kane instantly has a higher chance of scoring due to Dembele's ability to move the ball quickly and accurately up the pitch

      1. MrInbetween
        • 10 Years
        10 years, 3 months ago

Walker seemed to sort of take over that role and moved the ball down the pitch smartly and quickly time after time.

I was very confident of Kane this week (after seeing him rested on Thursday) after a brief flirt with Siggy or Rondon but was busy Thursday night and Friday night and didn't have time to write a post on here saying why I thought Kane should definitely be captained this week.

He had the form. Home fixture when Spurs have joint best Home form in league. And despite Bournemouth on a good run of form, they are on a high after guaranteeing promotion and won't have to go out and park the bus especially when they aren't a team who is going to do that anyway. So I was very confident of Spurs scoring at least 2, possibly 3 goals - like they did in the reverse fixture when they won 5-1.

haha, well played! Always better to consider all options but truthfully I stuck the captain armband on Kane and never once changed it this week. After I made that post I realised that Rondon is differential enough and prob will only score 1 goal max where-as Kane is just so much more likely to explode.

Once again never even considered Aguero for the 2nd week running. I've stuck it on him atm for next week though!

Had 70+ points last 3 game weeks including 79 LAST week and 88 THIS week with 2 free transfers available during the international break. Now moved up to 116k overall. 🙂

      My current team is
      Forster Butland
Dawson Williams Fuchs Toby Fonte(will prob transfer for Bellerin during break).
Mahrez Siggy Alli Ozil Arnautovic (might also do either Ozil/Arnie to Willian or Sanchez)
Vardy Kane Aguero(definitely taking out either during break or GW after)

I currently have £3.7m in the bank
I am also yet to use my second wc or any of the chips.

I also happen to have had Toby ever since gameweek 1. 🙂

Ok, getting close to my final decision, injuries permitting to my wc team.

This gives me: 13 dgw 34 players (bb)
    11 gw 35 players
7 dgw 37 players (tc) (but with 4 ft to use before dgw 37 so potentially 11 dgw 37 players)

    Robles / elliot

Jagielka, Bellerin, Moreno, olsson (wba), Gabriel

    Firmino, Milner, mahrez, payet, ozil

    Lukaku, Kane, Aguero

    0.0Itb left

For gw 32 will play willian and swap for firmino in gw 33

Looks great. I'm thinking of going Aguero-less because of terrible SV.

Looks very close to what I'm doing in midfield and attack - only difference is I'm going double West Ham instead of double Liverpool (Lanzini instead of Milner).

In terms of defence I'm not touching Moreno or Gabriel, but haven't decided yet on the best options.

How many times are we expecting Firmino to fall guys? And Payet, he should rise at least twice right?

I can afford a 0.1 drop but Payet is about to rise and I have 2FTs.

    Aguero

has the same total score as Heurelho Gomes
is 2.8 dearer than any other player
has the same amount of goals as Riyad Mahrez
has the same amount of assists as Younes Kaboul
has picked up 14 bonus points, the same as Christian Benteke
in bonus point system, is drawing with Ben Watson
    matches Manuel Lanzini for form
has appeared in the dream the same number of times as Andre Ayew
matches Wilfred Bony in form relating to value
is on par with Welbeck in points per game

Wildcard active! Boom! Been thinking about it all night, players I want all rising (payet,Bellerin - elliot (maybe) ) - also going to want Sanchez.

So far a work in progress but looking at

    GK Adrian/Elliot
DEF Bellerin, Sakho, Smalling (Simpson, Woolshide)
MID Mahrez* Lingard, Ozil, Payet, Sanchez
    FWD Kane*, Sturridge, Aguero

Need to find alternatives to Mahrez and Woolshide but as it stands I have exact money for that, with the plan for Kane and Mahrez* to go to Lukaku and a Pool mid with my 2 frees in gw 34.

No idea on the Simpson, Woolshide replacements yet

Any thoughts on what move(s) I should do this week? Poor defensive fixtures so wondering if it might be a good time to use AOA.

    Schmeichel
    Bellerin - Aldeweireld - Williams
    Ozil - Sigurdsson - Mahrez - Alli
    Vardy - Kane - Aguero

    Butland - Arnautovic - Dawson - Cedric

Damn missed out on 0.1 doing Fonte -> Bellerin for my 1st free transfer price rise during int break. Hopefully he'll continue to rise though with their amazing fixture list and his form so I'll still get price rise after I get him in (although unlikely to sell him anyway). Still have enough to get him though and plenty of spare too.

Wow... Payet again... I sold him a few weeks ago for Siggy (who I had planned on bringing in for ages at the time) partly due to upcoming fixtures, although MAINLY so that I would have full starting XI when teams played FA Cup. Even now though, I'm unsure whether or not to bring him in due to fixtures despite form and his points potential and surprising consistency against tougher teams.

Was planning on taking either Ozil or Arnautovic out later on within break for caution, maybe Ozil to Sanchez as he has been looking lively for ages in particular last few matches and has finally started getting points he deserves and Arsenal have good fixtures coming up including a double gw and play week after. Willian is other option to bring in.

Fortunately I have been getting 70+ scores for last 3 game weeks now, 73 PTS GW 30, 79 PTS LAST GW and then 88 PTS THIS GAMEWEEK including 88 points this week placing me just outside the top 100k once again. In addition my team all have good fixtures coming up so things shouldn't go too badly whatever I decide to do.

Note: At time of post I have £3.7m in the bank.

Gabriel is first choice now and Robles isn't that nailed on. Howard will feature towards the end of the season. I much prefer a United GKer to an Everton one too.

How is Robles safer? Everton defense is pathetic. So much so that EVEN BEFORE ARSENAL MATCH, Everton had the worse home defensive record in the whole league - and yes this does in fact mean they have actually conceded more goals at home than Aston Villa.
