Has anyone considered going without Aguero and getting a cheaper DGW striker in his place instead? City aren't looking that great, he's got 2 away DGW games and you're not going to TC him for 34.

Better to ship and use funds to bring in better players and improve the team overall?

DGW34 is 5 weeks away, so current form is pretty irrelevant.

Aguero has generally been poor away from home. I definitely think that if you're not going to TC him that DGW, there are strikers with better DGW fixtures than him for cheaper.

But he plays WB at home in GW 33 and Stoke at home in GW 35. I'd be inclined to get rid for Lukaku in GW 36.

Absolutely. His peri-DGW fixtures are very tempting. Which makes the decision all the more harder.

Probably worth risking for gaps with crap TV like mine. However Jarvish does make a good point, he might just be unstoppable by then.

Yeah, it is definitely TV dependent. I plan to keep at the moment baring an Everton re-scheduling in GW 35 changing my plans. The GW 35 blank really adds to the complexity of the situation.

WC active. so 2 weeks to decide, I'm leaning heavily on going without him. My terrible TV / SV is dictating. If you are on 107 + TV, I would keep him.

I'm sort of in the same boat Ryan. My TV is bollocks. But my perhaps biased opinion in the above post aside - Martial/Mitrovic/Welbeck - if nailed on have much better fixtures. I don't see Kun as a viable TC option for DGW 34.

I sold Kane last night for Martial (Saturday UK) and wish I got Rashford. Or just wish I waited and caught Kane's double/triple rise first. Only problem with Rashford is that when Rooney is back he's likely to be dropped. Welbeck is probably a safer bet

Ah OK! I'd say I hope it works out but as a Spurs fan I hope it doesn't 😛 I sold Mahrez and Vardy this week before Palace... I have no WC left though so need to start making transfers asap and Newcastle and West Brom had 2 good fixtures in the next 2 so thought it would be OK to bring in Wijnaldum and Rondon! Did OK on one, not so on the other.

I wouldn't fancy selling him for Defoe against Arsenal that week. For these reasons Welbeck could be better

For the team that he enables, quite possibly, though it's obviously not ideal. The same problem exists with most players who fit that 3rd striker spot though, assuming you are going with Kun and Lukaku.

Martial, Deeney, Ighalo, Rashford - they all have that issue.

Which leaves relatively few options - Rondon, Welbeck etc. and I wouldn't say they're amazing.

I like the look of Lanzini more - great player. Had some form earlier in the season before his injury and played in the hole last game.

Currently I easily have the funds for Payet so I'll probably end up going with Payet but I don't think Lanzini is a much worse option. Antonio has been shifted further back recently too (although he's still managed to score points)

Transferred in Payet at 1:13 and didn't see that he had already risen 0.1m. Was counting on catching that price rise 🙁

Arrgh fell asleep and missed doing Oz to Payet 👿 Plans in tatters, budget blown.

Maybe Aguero will have to go so everything else can be done. I still think I could get a serious arse bite in the DGWs though. I think he may yet have a couple of mighty scores up his sleeves somewhere.

105 something Mr West. But I have expensive tastes.

I can get all but one target of course, it was the just woken initial disappointment of missing yet another thing I should have done this season.

                  I'll get over it. 😉

Too soon to WC thia lot?
              Difficult fixtures next GW.
Would you WC this team right now to mix it up.. or just make the 1 switch.. probably an Arsenal asset such as Sanchez in..

              Schmeichel, Butland
              Toby, Dawson, Williams, Fran, Fonte
              Eriksen, Siggy, Mahrez, Payet, Stan
              Aguero, Vardy, Kane

              1ft, 5.3m in bank.

Who would you rather for GW 33 only (WC'ing after)

                A) Reid (CPA)
                B) Ivanovic (villa)
                C) Gabriel (WAT)
                D) Bellerin (WAT)

A or C would allow me to get Sanchez at home to Watford also.

                Chelsea player?
                West Ham player?
                Rashford?

DGW34 team, not using WC. Which option would you prefer

                DDG
                Bellerin, _____, Dann

                3) SMalling, FIrmino/Couts, Rashford/Deeney , Mahrez - 8
                4) Smalling, FIrmino/Couts, Mitrovic, Ali - 8

                  Kompany->Bellerin, Save FT then reasses.

IMO, Ideally, you should be looking to get in United defender, DDG, Lukaku, Liverpool mid...in that order

You don't need 11, no. Personally, I don't think Alli is worth keeping and I think that Sturridge is a better (and granted, far riskier) alternative to Kane with his 2 DGWs. Each to his own I guess.

My friend has 3 DGW players Dann, Dawson and Aguero and has used all of his chips and WC's

Pretty much whatever happens from this point in and whatever route I take I should be able to field many more players than him in the DGW's.

Should really take him apart towards the end of the season

Yes. Foolishly played mine this week, but luckily Bellerin subbed in for Fermino..

I realise I should've waited for the no mans land between 34 and 37 when a good lineup may be tough to choose

Too soon to WC this lot?
                Difficult fixtures next GW.
Would you WC this team right now to mix it up.. or just make the 1 switch.. probably an Arsenal asset such as Sanchez in..

                Schmeichel, Butland
                Toby, Dawson, Williams, Fran, Fonte
                Eriksen, Siggy, Mahrez, Payet, Stan
                Aguero, Vardy, Kane

                1ft, 5.3m in bank.

I'd wait to GW33 unless you get a ton of international injuries.

Anyone still eyeing up GW36 wildcard? And if so will you triple captain in GW34?

Yeah. Set to field 10 double gameweek players in Gw34 (Mahrez being the one single) and will probably captain Ozil. Let's me field a really strong team for GW35 and then better adapt to any developments that occur after that.

Triple captain Ozil is what I meant to say.

Very valid concern. Kane will most certainly be part of the strong GW35 team that I was referring to!

But certainly having the WC in hand leaves you more flexibility, and some GW33 WC teams could be looking pretty ugly by the end of the season

                WC activated!

                Migs / Elliott
                Bellerin / Monreal / Janmaat / Reid / Fuchs*
                Ozil / Firmino / Payet / Lanzini / Mahrez*
                Lukaku / Kun / Kane

Think I'll bring Sturridge in for Kane after the price rises if Sturridge remains unscathed over the break. Also, plan on bringing Wijnaldum in for Mahrez in GW34 to give me 14DGWs. Otherwise, fairly settled with this. Thoughts? Thanks 🙂

You may only have 10 for GW35 unless you use your GW35 transfer to correct that. Otherwise, looks good.

Cheers mate. Yep, the plan is to use that other transfer getting rid of one of the Hammers boys. Thanks for the reply

Wildcarding in GW33, which of these one week punts to do you like more?

                Fonte and Siggy to:

                a) Ivan and Payet
                b) Ogbonna and Sanchez

Anyone in WC32 boat, how do we see price changes going this week? Very slowly? Who is likely to double rise from now on....?
                Kane?

Kane is probably going to be the only double riser from this point I would think
