You’re looking at the new Fantasy Football Scout.
After around 18-months of design, re-design, wireframing, coding and testing we are very proud to reveal the fresh new look.
I’d like to extend a huge thanks to Will for his initial design and Dougal and Ed for building the new site, plus PureOlivia for his new version of the Season Ticker.
In addition, I’d like to thank for the following (in no particular order) for their help testing the site over the last few weeks:
Jonty, TorresMagic, Spencer, D1sable, Andy, Evs, Beavis, Doolittle, Kavali, Bowstring the Trout, Green Windmill, Balders, Sarjaent, Ryan, Kings of Lyon, Rakkhi.
You won’t be surprised to know that the new site is now fully compatible with mobile and tablet – it’s a fully responsive design that will adapt to your screen resolution accordingly.
If you’re accessing on mobile or tablet in portrait mode you will see a different version to desktop, allowing you to read articles and join discussions far more easily and effectively.
The mobile and tablet versions have viewing options which are available via a series of buttons under the top featured story on the homepage.

Use these buttons to view Recent Comments, the Twitter feed and the regular sidebar elements – including a new version of the Season Ticker. We’ve tried to ensure that mobile and tablet users have the same tools available as those on desktop – have a play and get acquainted.
If you view the site on table in landscape mode, you will shift to the small desktop version – if this is not the case, try updating your device.
Myself, Jonty and the moderation team are going to be about today to answer as many of your queries and issues. I’ve added a short FAQ below to hopefully address any immediate questions.
Why have we made this change?
We had to move FFS to be more friendly on mobile devices. Just over a year ago Google started penalising sites in search results should they fail to be mobile compatible. While we chose not to rush out a quick fix to address this, we knew we had to accelerate work on a new site to overcome this issue. Hopefully we’ve now made the site far more accessible for those using mobile and tablet devices, in addition to improving the site for desktop users – we hope.
How can I report a bug or issue?
We’ve done some pretty extensive testing of the new site but, inevitably, there will be bugs we’ve missed across some devices and browsers. If you think you’ve found an issue, please report this in the comments or, ideally, via email.
Mail us at support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk .
Please include as much detail as possible, including your device, your browser and your browser version. A screenshot would also be useful if you’re sending us your issue via email.
Can I give feedback on the new site?
Of course. Please use the support@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk address to mail us with any feedback or ideas or the comment threads to offer your views.
We’re aware that such a big change can be jarring and that we will all need time to get used to the new site.
Please be patient with us while we iron out any creases and fix any issues that remain.
Why hasn’t the members area changed?
We’ve decided to apply the new look to just the main site for now. Over the summer we will consider applying the design to the members area to also make this more friendly on mobile and tablet.
