Capping off the day’s events, Liverpool will strive to arrest Tottenham Hotspur’s title charge at Anfield. The Reds are reeling in the wake of their collapse at Southampton last time out, while Spurs dominated Bournemouth in the previous round of fixtures.

Underlining their buoyant attack, Liverpool racked up five more goals (13) than any team in their last four outings. Intriguingly, the Merseysiders only placed fifth for attempts (58) during that period but profited from the best shot-conversion rate (22.4%). Delving into their home form, no side has conceded fewer shots inside the box (69) and big chances (13) on their own patch than Liverpool, which suggests they’re capable of stifling Spurs’ high-powered attack.

The Lilywhites ranked top for attempts (71), joint-top for big chances (10) and second for shots on target (28) over their last four matches, yet Mauricio Pochettino’s men will have been disappointed by an underwhelming shot-conversion rate (9.9%). Nonetheless, Tottenham chart second for goals (30), top for shots on target (128) and bottom for goals conceded (12) in road ties, illustrating their strength away from the capital.

I am not getting into that Cout trap again. No chance!! He and Mane are the reason for my bad ranking

Hi...anyone willing to appraise this wildcard team for next week, bb34..

    Robles darlow
    Sakho reid dann Gabriel simpson
    Bolasie mahrez Sanchez lanzini payet
    Lukaku Kun kane

For gw34 I'd do dann and bolasie to bellerin and coutinho for a hit......giving me 12dgw players plus 3 and 10 players for gw35.

    Any thoughts?...thanks

    1. thegaffer82
      10 years, 6 months ago

A 4 point hit AND only 10 for GW35. Not keen on that I'm afraid

    2. Debauchy

Decent. Prefer all out risks myself

Just get in Bellerin and Coutinho now, Palace aren't great and not getting them now could mean you never get them due to price rises. I like the rest, no Man U defenders though?

      1. Flynny
        10 years, 6 months ago

I have enough cash itb to afford both coutinho and bellerin to double rise.

The palace do seems worth a hit as they should bring in at least 4 additional points...

Benched Toby and played Bellerin, Azpilecueta and Huth

    So far so good.

Except for the Palace buys (unless they were Gayle or Delaney) but those were for next week anyway.

0.1 off Coutinho and Firmino, and dumping Mahrez

The Firmino drop will sort it.

    Cech, Robles
    Gabriel, Smalling, Janmaat, Sakho, Kirchoff
    Firmino, Coutinho, Payet, Lanzini, Sanchez
    Kun, Lukaku, Martial

Rojo over Smalling and it's easy
