We’re back into the swing of the Gameweek cycle and returning to Paddy Power’s window, peering in to gather an additional set of considerations before the bell tolls on another deadline.

Before we scan Paddy’s odds for Anytime Goalscorers and Clean Sheets, we should remind those without accounts that you can sign up and take advantage of a batch of Paddy Power’s enhanced odds offers every Gameweek – this weekend is no exception.

Paddy get the ball rolling with their customary European Acca, offering 20/1 on wins for Man City (at Bournemouth), Arsenal (vs Watford), Barcelona (vs Real Madrid) and Juventus (vs Empoli).

Today’s all-important tea-time clash at Anfield is covered by two beefed-up offers, with new accounts able to get 8/1 on a Liverpool win over Spurs, or 9/1 on the visitors earning a priceless away win.

If that fails to tickle your fancy, you can dive into tomorrow’s live encounters and grab 7/1 on a Leicester win over Southampton, if 6/1 on Manchester United overcoming Everton in the later kick-off.

Be sure to check the terms and conditions on all those offers and, of course, we should state that all these specials are only available to those aged 18. If you’re going to wager, always gamble responsibly.

Sergio Aguero (1.83) has drawn blanks in four of his last five starts but retains his regular position at the summit of Paddy’s likely scorer charts. Topping this week’s Captain Poll, the Argentine has been directly involved in 66% (nine goals, one assist) of Manchester City’s goals since Gameweek 20, which bodes well for his attacking prospects against a Bournemouth outfit that conceded seven goals in their last four home ties. Elsewhere in the Sky Blues camp, Kevin De Bruyne and Wilfried Bony (2.40) sneak into view with Paddy clearly backing an away win for Manuel Pellegrini’s men.

Surprisingly, Olivier Giroud (2.00) – who has started just one of Arsenal’s last four league fixtures – has been pinpointed as the second-most likely scorer this Gameweek as the Gunners prepare to host Watford (two clean sheets in 13). Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez (both 2.20) also feature highly, with Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck (2.29) not far behind. Despite their recent FA Cup defeat to the Hornets, Paddy are clearly in Arsenal’s camp for today’s encounter.

In the absence of the suspended Diego Costa – who recently received an extension on his ban – back-ups forwards Loic Remy, Bertrand Traore and Radamel Falcao all come in at 2.29 before Chelsea’s alluring trip to Aston Villa. The Blues attack will clearly fancy their chances against a Villains rearguard that has surrendered 18 goals in their previous six outings.

Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy are both pitched at 2.40 ahead of crunch ties in the title race. Having netted five goals in his last three starts, the former is well placed to punish a Liverpool team that conceded three or more goals on three occasions over their last nine match-ups. As for Vardy, he graced the scoreboard just once in his previous seven league starts but will be brimming with confidence having scored in both England internationals during the break.

CLEAN SHEET ODDS – GAMEWEEK 32

Sunderland2.25

West Ham United2.50
Manchester United2.50
Leicester City2.60
Norwich City2.60

With Watford failing to score in seven of their last 10 matches, it’s little wonder that Arsenal (1.90) are handed the shortest clean-sheet odds by the bookmaker. Staying within the capital, Chelsea (2.00) are also well fancied to repel a Villa attack that is looking to avoid a fourth successive blank. Chelsea have, however, gone six matches without a shut-out.

Given that Sunderland (2.25) have failed to secure a clean sheet in 16 attempts, it’s somewhat perplexing that they rank third in our table prior to a home encounter against West Bromwich Albion, who have registered a solitary blank in five. Stoke City’s valuation (2.40) for their home tie against Swansea City also looks generous in the wake of Jack Butland’s season-ending injury and an array of knocks in the back four.

West Ham United (2.50) have recorded three straight clean sheets at the Boelyn Ground, so they appear to represent good value against a Crystal Palace unit that’s devoid of a fit and proven striker. As for Man United (2.50), they could struggle to contain an Everton team that racked up nine goals in their last trio of road matches.

Leicester and Norwich City (both 2.60) are neck and neck ahead of their respective home fixtures. The Foxes earned clean sheets in six of their previous seven showdowns at the King Power Stadium, bolstering their case for investment. The Canaries, meanwhile, strive for their third consecutive clean sheet against a Newcastle squad that charts bottom for away goals (seven).

Team sorted, benching decision is surely the most logical/ sensible?

Obviously I'm not happy benching Toby and Alli but what can ya do... maybe Toby instead of Dawson? Otherwise I can't see a midfielder to bench for Alli.

Three one GW decisions (2 FT, WC next week), a few votes would be really appreciated:

    One defender to transfer in:
    A: Bellerin
    B: Ivanovic
    One mid to transfer in:
    C: Payet
    D: Sanchez (have Ozil)
    One to bench
    E: Vardy (Mahrez play)
    F: Alli (Kane playing)
    G: Siggy
Sorry to get down to G (!!), but would really appreciate some help, I am currently on ACE

Really debating last minute Alli vs Gylfi like most here. Only reason i would play Alli is the ownership, because it will hurt if he produces. Gylfi can come good for a goal vs Stoke...

Any stats that would help / advise?

I'm torn on that but currently coming down with Ali because I feel that Spurs might need a couple to win and have the motivation to go for three points. Swansea will settle for a point, either 0-0 or 1-1 - I just don't see them geared up for goals.

Admittedly, though, they only need one for Siggy to return but the Ali and Kane link just keeps on feeding goals for Spurs so I'm probably going for that.

Siggy in the form of his life though. Pair of assists against Greece. Very hard to bench him. But I'm tinkering between Lukaku and Siggy.

Yea that logic makes complete sense and thats the reason i just switched to Alli. Kinda feel that 3 spurs vs LIV is over the top, but have nothing else. Also, Gylfi's stats are really decent. He is Swa at the moment going forward...

Ownership of Alli is also a big factor.

I've gone rogue this week! I'd already transfered Bellerin back into the team before the IB, forgot about it, then did Siggy to Payet -4, ah well. Then had to get rid of Butland, another -4.

Could work out and cover the -8.. but could mess me up. Currently 36k.

    Which defender to play

    A. Alderwiereld
    B. VVD
    C. Daniels

I own Aguero but Daniels at home could get something against city. Don't fancy spurs to keep a clean sheet. I have too many Leicester I think to consider VVD but I have read a few of you think it could be 0-0

      What about Alderwield vs Williams?

      Alderwield has liverpool.

Same here. I think Williams is slightly favoured for the clean sheet but then Toby has far more going forward and Liverpool never look convincing on set-plays.

He has got the form and a favourable fixture. Also he has better agility and movement.

Silva has a midfield duo around him just as Payet does. But has not made considerable contributions over the last few matches including international. He can create space. Just won't be in it for the goals.

I'd say you go ahead and do Payet.

Newcastle is going defence with the amount of injuries at the back. Not enough time and space to make for a goal. However Newcastle has shown time in and out that they get lucky on the corners. Especially with men like Shelvey and Wijnaldum leading the pack.

Rashford is relatively new. But we have seen him in Manchester Derby. He's pretty fine. I'd go with rashford without a doubt. As a third striker not as a second. Don't rely on him too much. He may not score just as you expect.

    Darlow (Robles)
    Bellerin Gabriel Janmaat/Sakho (Ward)

    Aguero Lukaku (Wickham)

Players I would like to have but cant fit in are Welbeck/Firminho. Could downgrade Sanchez but fancy him over Ozil. Any other weak points? Cheers
