There’s no double Gameweek on offer in FantasyBet this week, with the midweek match between Palace and Everton excluded from the round of fixtures. Instead the action kicks off at Upton Park, where Arsenal visit the Hammers looking for a third straight win, and ends on Sunday, when Manchester United visit Tottenham.

In between, Crystal Palace go head-to-head with Norwich in a proverbial six-pointer at Selhurst Park, whilst Newcastle travel to St Mary’s looking for a first win under Rafa Benitez. Meanwhile, at Vicarage Road, Everton will hope to arrest their recent poor form against a Watford outfit that have already lost their last four.

Manchester City are the league’s last participants in the Champions League and are fortunate to be facing West Brom at the Etihad. On Sunday, Leicester City make a trip to the Stadium of Light, where Sunderland have drawn four successive matches, whilst Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will have decisions to make at home to Stoke, with one eye perhaps on the Europa League second-leg clash with Borussia Dortmund. Finally, Manchester United travel to Tottenham in a match that could have a significant influence on both sides’ final positions.

KEY PICKS

Thibaut Courtois: A 4-0 win at Villa took Chelsea’s unbeaten run to 15 matches under interim boss Guus Hiddink. The Blues have impressed on the road in particular, conceding only two goals in seven away ties, and their number one offers a safe and comparatively inexpensive route into the Dutchman’s defence for Saturday’s trip to Swansea.

Scott Dann: Although Crystal Palace have failed to record a clean sheet in 12 league outings, the visit of a Norwich side that have netted in only three of their last ten away trips means Alan Pardew’s backline have a reasonable chance of keeping the Canaries out. Dann also offers a serious threat from set-pieces, having scored five already this campaign.

Kevin De Bruyne: The Belgian has made an immediate impact on his return to action, scoring in both Man City’s matches over the last week. Remarkably, all nine of De Bruyne’s assists in the league this season have arrived at the Etihad, which bodes well for his prospects as Manuel Pellegrini’s troops welcome West Brom to the Etihad.

Graziano Pelle: With the threat of relegation looming, Newcastle have to go for three points on their visit to St Mary’s, which should leave plenty of space for the Saints to exploit. Before blanking at the King Power, Pelle looked back in form, having served up three goals and two assists in the previous two outings against Liverpool and Stoke.

THIS WEEK’S GAME PICKS

Awd2 had a six-point lead at the summit with a total of 102 in the Grand Weekend – captaining Alexis Sanchez delivered 26 points, while picking West Ham midfield duo Dimitri Payet (nine points) and Manuel Lanzini (ten points) also paid off.

    Looking at their minutes, it seems Firmino is far more prone to being subbed off around the 60-75 minute mark compared with Coutinho. Add to that he is just returning from injury, and I think Coutinho might just be the better pick.

    Why is everybody disregarding Ozil? Fair enough his form hasn't been great lately but he's still on set-pieces and usually bosses the baps when he gets an assist.

      Because on wildcard it is pretty much a binary choice between Ozil and Sanchez, and if you don't make the jump now you're unlikely to be able to easily later on

      50% - Half the goals Crystal Palace have scored this season have come from set-pieces (17 out of 34), a league-high proportion. Rehearsed.

    Cannot for the life of me decide between Lennon and Bolasie only for this GW 🙁

    Bolasie has returned attacking points on 4 games throughout the season (2 double figures), fair enough he has been injured for parts

    Lennon has returned attacking points in 5 games throughout the season with 4 of those returns occuring more recently (last 2 months ish)

    Agree both a pants but for a DGW player they look a little more attractive.
