Rounding off the weekend’s entertainment, there are a quartet of teams battling for supremacy at opposite ends of the country. Liverpool search for their first in win three outings when they host Stoke City, while Tottenham Hotspur duel with Manchester United at White Hart Lane.

Liverpool’s attack is in fine fettle ahead of their double next Gameweek, given that they managed the joint-third-most goals (eight) and second-most shots on target (27) over their last four matches. However, prospective investors will be concerned that the Reds possess the joint-third-worst shot-conversion rate (8%) in home matches. As for the Potters, they’ve recorded one clean sheet in 10 matches yet conceded the joint-second-fewest big chances (two) across their previous four fixtures.

Spurs maintained their attacking dominance during the last four Gameweeks, registering the joint-third-most goals (eight), most attempts (80), joint-most big chances (10) and most shots on target (31). As for the Red Devils, they ranked joint-third-bottom for goals (three), third-bottom for attempts (36), second-bottom for shots inside the box (18) and joint-third-bottom for shots on target (10), augmenting the Lilywhites’ clean-sheet prospects.

Just remember that it was only the first win for Palace in 2016, they are already safe I think and what they focus on now is only the FA Cup.

Yes, Everton haven't been too impressive recently either, but one scrappy goal from Lukaku and our captain easily gets over 20pts.

And with the likes of Sakho Gabriel, KDB - we were all aware of the risk. I own 3 of them but there is really no point in complaining. What we are aiming for is a monster DWG score.

    And it will come. 🙂

I agree, you look at the draft wildcard teams and this weeks fixtures and it's no surprise at the scores.

Next week and onto 35 when you have a plan and everyone else has few doubles, no bench boost and need hits for 35 is when things will come together.

    Lessons learnt so far.

-BB is just a glorified AOA chip, if your budget was crap then you have to buy alot of dross, buyer beware.
-Next season the DGWs will probably be spread out so less need to cram in so many DG players over SGW players..

However every GW is different and in a DGW twice the chance to score well. So chin up.

      • 10 Years
      9 years, 11 months ago

Why would there be more DWGs next season?

      1. Fred54
        • 11 Years
        9 years, 11 months ago

I didn't say more I said spread out. This season is compacted to allow an earlier finish for the Euros.

DGW genetered by the League Cup blank are often played earlier. Although obviously depends on the FA Cup and EPL fixture clash.

Just got home from work. Wildcard for the DGWs at the end of the season they said. It will be fun they said... Coutinho on the bench, Sakho not even there. Jagielka injured, Got vardy and simpson out, they won 2-0. List could go on. F this

how is it going to work out well if I already have to replace Jagielka and maybe Barkley seeing the luck I have, not to mention Lukaku has been awful. Meanwhile I lost another 10-15 points with my competitor who used his wildcard in January and now has the points from Vardy, schmeichel and proably Kane and Toby as well seeing how this goes.

I will probably end up with around 50 as well, currently on 34. But it is really annoying when you have 3 liverpool players and only one is playing 🙂 Not to mention 3 Everton and all did 0. Won;t expect much against Palace either.
