Rounding off the weekend’s entertainment, there are a quartet of teams battling for supremacy at opposite ends of the country. Liverpool search for their first in win three outings when they host Stoke City, while Tottenham Hotspur duel with Manchester United at White Hart Lane.

Liverpool’s attack is in fine fettle ahead of their double next Gameweek, given that they managed the joint-third-most goals (eight) and second-most shots on target (27) over their last four matches. However, prospective investors will be concerned that the Reds possess the joint-third-worst shot-conversion rate (8%) in home matches. As for the Potters, they’ve recorded one clean sheet in 10 matches yet conceded the joint-second-fewest big chances (two) across their previous four fixtures.

Spurs maintained their attacking dominance during the last four Gameweeks, registering the joint-third-most goals (eight), most attempts (80), joint-most big chances (10) and most shots on target (31). As for the Red Devils, they ranked joint-third-bottom for goals (three), third-bottom for attempts (36), second-bottom for shots inside the box (18) and joint-third-bottom for shots on target (10), augmenting the Lilywhites’ clean-sheet prospects.

        Obviously, I did say that some of those advices were mine. One thing I said here and was smart, was that people should try to keep their perectly fine teams as similar as possible and just slightly adjust them to the DGW. Not many people listened to that, I guess.

      I think its the set up of it. In previous years you can WC in the actual DGW. If you wanted to BB or TC you have to WC the week before.

      Nope. We made the right strategy moves for the Dgw, yet we likely did not hedge against the fact that the studs we sold were studs for a reason. It is an all or none dgw strategy that looked passed this gw, and is a crushing lesson.

      Well to get a decent team for the DG34 I needed to WC that's a given, so can't question using the WC in that regard.

      You can't really be annoyed when SGW X player did well. I mean Mahrez and Kane did nothing this GW, I bet people who retained them are now conflicted on what to do....
