In their quest to beat to the drop, Sunderland will attempt to de-rail Leicester City’s formidable title charge at the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats lost just one of their last seven match-ups, while the Foxes are on a six-match unbeaten streak.

Although Sunderland ranked third for attempts (64) and seventh for shots inside the box (34) across their previous seven outings, they suffered from the third-worst shot-conversion rate (6.3%). The Wearsiders have lacked an attacking spark at home all season, placing fifth-bottom for goals (17), joint-second-bottom for shots inside the box (99) and bottom for big chances (11). That being said, Sunderland have conceded the joint-sixth-fewest goals in home matches (16).

Owing to Leicester’s supreme defensive effort of late, they’ve been able to register five 1-0 wins in their last six fixtures. Aside from notching four cleans sheets in as many matches, the East Midlanders’ rearguard restricted their opponents to the joint-fifth-fewest big chances (three) during that stretch. It’s worth noting, however, that only three sides have allowed more shots inside the box in away ties (151) than Leicester.

So..... I sold Sigurdsson and Vardy this week, for Coutinho and Martial. Also didn't bother getting someone in for Elliot yet because Cech was going to play wasn't he? Oh yeah, and Williams third sub while I played Daniels and Azpilicueta.

    I've had better weeks.

Chose Sakho and Lovren. Thought worse comes to worse, one won't start.
Now both of them don't start and neither does Coutinho.

Hopefully Dortmund give Liverpool a good battering midweek

I don't begrudge your good moves but if everyone around is failing, they'll have a hard time appreciating the happiness.

The irony is, where else is one supposed to be happy about FPL?

I think listing your successes and talking about wearing your 'smug face' can have the appearance of goading people as so many are having a really sh!tty time.

Personally I'm having a good week, but I think it's sensible to keep the boasts to yourself in light of the average experience right now.

Do what you want, but those are my thoughts fella.

I'm the only one with any chips left prior to this wk. 20 points behind in MLS. Thought I had it sorted to win easy. Wat a disaster. To top it off iv 20 or more points on the bench.

I can see the logic, whilst it is Stoke you would have thought Sakho/Lovren would be first choice.

Pre WC team would be on about 50 points right now without having made a transfer, and Kane and Alli still to play.

    This is a disaster!
