Who would you get as Jags replacement?

    A. Kolarov - probably plays 2 of next 3 PL games. Genuine attacking potential.

    B. Cresswell - plays 2 games in 34 but blank in 35. WHM don't do clean sheets.

Of those 2 I would go A. But how city defence is a minefield . Don't know who plays one week to the next.

Kolarov is a tricky one lot will depend on city psg result cresswell plays wednesday nailed but blank as you say. Does have a double in 37 tho if you can carry him through 35

henn, ward, toby, alli, vardy..sums up my wc week.arghh.

if lukaku got 2pts midweek (got bad feeling on this), should i change him to carrol? don't really care on hits if i could continue pressing ML leader.

    thoughts?

Playing AOA, no WC, 0 FT, $1.2m ITB

Sorry for the repost, didn't get replies:

    Robles l Darlow
    Kosc l Gabriel l Sakho l Dann l Rojo
    Sanchez l Payet l Marhez l Bolasie l Barkley
    Aguero l Lukaku l Mitrovic

    2FT / 3.2ITB

    What would you do?

    A) Bolasie / Barkley --> Coutinho / Firmino
    B) Bolasie / Barkley --> Milner / Firmino
    C) Gabriel / Bolasie / Barkley --> 4.5 / Milner / Ozil for -4pts
    D) Other suggestion?

I have Ozil and love their fixtures. So that's an attractive option to me. Are you planning on playing bench boost next week?

And I am not confident anymore that Gabriel will play both. So I might as well get rid. Coutinho's gametime is also a worry now.

Ideally you'd get a guy who has a double in 34 and is also playing in 35. There aren't many of those at that price point, but Evans is a decent shout. To be safer, you could go with Simpson, or you could go Sunderland (Kirchoff or Kaboul) since you'll at least then get them for a double in 37.

I wouldn't worry about Coutinho. In fact, I'd feel better about him than Firmino. They have another match midweek against Dortmund, and both Coutinho and Firmino will play in that match. So Coutinho getting rested today makes me think he's got a better chance than Firmino of playing both matches in 34. No way Firmino plays today, against Dortmund, and BOTH matches next week.

Cheaper than both and he's got 3 goals in his last two.

Too late for me and most others having 3 pool already another rotation risk anyhow wouldn't touch.

Fair point. Wouldn't say he's that much of a rotation risk. Sturridge definitely more.

Thinking about it. Newc looked awful and it would allow me to also get a keeper that stands a chance of a clean sheet on the BB/35 rather than Darlow.

Current set up for next GW.
    Mignolet
    Reid, Bellerin, Rojo, Sakho
    Payet, Sanchez, Coutinho, Lanzini
    Lukaku, Aguero
    Robles, Mahrez, Kane, Simpson.

    2ft- 0.2m

Mahrez- Iwobi is an option (and 2ft's for GW35)

Should I do something more drastic now that there is more rotation guaranteed tho?

    12 DGw'rs and 9 atm for 35.
    (IF they all show up)
    Cheers

    Robles (Forster)

    Bellerin, Simpson, Toby (Smith!, Olsson?)

    Özil, Sanzchez, Payet, Lennon (Mahrez)

    Aguero, Kane, Vardy

    1 FT, 0.3 ITB

No brainer move to do Vardy-> Martial?
    Any transfers worth a hit?
Olsson has DGW but the playtime is question, has been rested for last few games..

Save the FT, that XI looks pretty good and then you can roll out a solid team for the GW35 and then WC shortly thereafter.

If you are bb in 37 as it seems from your reply martial gives you a 37 dgw player. Your defence is short on 34 dgw players. You are definitely covered for 35. But very short on 37 dgwers if going to BB then. Invest in pool players?

      1. maratus
        • 11 Years
        9 years, 8 months ago

Yes, Im going to wc in 36 so dgw´ers in 37 is not an issue.

Still think Simpson and toby will do quite well, so not sure about the hit on defenders?

Do you refer to everybody that is smarter, more astute and quite simply a better player than you a 'casual' just because you chose to blow your wildcard unnecessarily ?

      1. Ruth_NZ

2 lucky goals from Vardy - a ball lumped over the top and a very late goal when Sunderland were chasing - make you " smarter, more astute and quite simply a better player" do they? Well done.

          Vardy ? Toby ? Alli ? Ozil ? Hennessy ? Fuchs ? Dann ? All lucky were they ?

I like many others made the conccienous decision not to wildcard this week.

Don't label us all as 'casuals' because we made a better decision.

I didn't use the word "casual".

You, however, did use the words "smarter, more astute and quite simply a better player" in obvious reference to yourself.

My team has sunk from 3k to 6k in the OR. What did yours do?

      2. Siva Mohan

I meant casuals used their WC earlier and most regulars or plenty from FFS community thought about using it for a DGW.. if only things went our way we would be laughing at casuals

i think it's a bit harsh to say "It's the year of the casuals" when there are many FFS users like myself that warned against a GW34 wildcard.

Many of us could see it was better to keep our Spurs and Leicester assets until GW36 at least.

That isn't "casual", that's making a judgement and time will tell if the judgement looks right come the end of GW35.

Let's hope so ... I'd love to think a 130+ score is on its way but after this week I'm just not sure anymore.

Nope, I expect anything gained in GW34 will be lost again in GW35 when we roll out our triple Leicester and Spurs players that week.

Already planning gw35. Is Chelsea midfield no go zone. If not who should be safest choice in terms of gametime?

If Matic is fit, Fabregas might be rotated.
      RLC if you punt.

Well Matic and Fabregas aren't very good fpl options.

        Oscar?

Rotation with Willian and Hazard if fit. Costa might play against Pool while Pato against Sunderland in the dgw.

There is NO safe Chelsea player in terms of rotation now. Not one.

Knowing the club well, all I will say is that if the PL title race is still open then a strong team will almost certainly be fielded against Spurs and Leicester (GW37/38). Everton GW37 will almost certainly see significant rotation.

The players preparing for the Euros will not be starved of games but that doesn't mean every game.

This is one reason why the GW36 wildcard is dangerous. Only get a Chelsea player if you don't mind a DGW player turning into a SGW player and/or missing games you are relying on them to play.

After the last couple of teams I would swerve any Chelsea assets with maybe the exception of Costa.

Is anyone considering a Lukaku exit in dgw34 if he fails to score against Palace?

    DGW34
Southampton on form and fighting for Europa qualification
Liverpool home and on form. Merseyside derby.
    GW35 blank.
GW36 BOU with Elphick and C Wilson fit. Not the same Bou any more?
GW37 lei+sun. LEI home form is excellent. Unsure for Sun.
GW38 NOR. Could get him back in this gw.

Yes I know. Even if he fails i'm still thinking no.

-Bou will be easy for scoring regardless who playing
-Leicester most likely will have title wrapped up by GW37
      - Sunderland Fc...should I say more?

Too early to say that. Next GW is the key one.

my pre wc team outscored my team by 41 points. I will need to take 1 hit this week to sort my team out. I am 45 points behind already.

But in my ml we have a highest gw score for 20 percent of the total prize money. So it could all be worth it.

i was all set on selling delenay this gw but after wc fiasco seems like he is staying cause unlike other players he will actually play both matches

yea but he will have a 2 point or 3 point gw 34. probably better off getting a sgw defender who will also play gw35.

    So what happened to Sakho?

Also, how safe is Coutinho? 4 games in 9 days.

The team is too much in abyss for it to be a bright spark...Feels worst for bringing in Sakho for Toby...

Hi guys, need to tweak the team a little bit, concerned about Gabriel and Coutinho playing time. What do you think about these transfers:

    A) Gabriel-KDB ==> Rojo-Ozil
    B) Gabriel-Cout ==> Smalling-Iwobi

    Thanks

      I am thinking of b....

      But will iwobi play both?

    Pick and choose.

    a) Lanzini -4
    b) Alli
    c) Bolasie

Weirdly, tempted to play Alli thinking Lei will park against Wham and Watford aren't the worst defensively either.

Nothing is easy in FPl this season bro....just think casually and get player who scored most points last week
