Having assessed the first five teams set for a pair of Gameweek 34 fixtures earlier in the week, we now cast an eye over the remaining candidates.

In order to qualify for our members table analysis, each player must have featured in at least three of their sides’ last seven league fixtures and produced a minimum of four attempts on goal over their last four league appearances.

Change of tactics?? You have to be adaptable at this game, so throwing this out there..

For those who used their wildcard in GW33 with the intention of using a bench boost in GW34, have your plans changed since then?

Everyone has brought in different players on their wildcard, but with confirmed absences of Jagielka and Janmaat, doubts over Barkley and Lennon, game time issues for City players, Liverpool players, United strikers and United full backs, plus tough games for Palace, there is growing weight to use the triple armband chip.

Yes you could transfer out an injured/doubtful/rotation issue player and get a 'safer' one in, but if they are from a side that doesn't play in GW35, are you actually hindering yourself by using a transfer this week?

Looking ahead to the final few gameweeks, there are other options for the use of the bench boost. GW37 is another DGW and you could argue that GW38 looks pretty handy with the games on offer.

The triple armband candidates look stronger in GW34 than in GW37 as well, with Arsenal assets top of the list and even a United player an option considering the gutless nature of their first opposition.

GW37 looks unappealing for BB, Most teams involved could have nothing to play for

No two situations are alike. You just have to exercise judgment.

BB isn't the be all and end all.

Best case scenario is you get an extra game out of your worst two defenders, worst GK, and worst mid.

As you allude to, most won't get that.

      Good luck.

        DGW vs SGW that is.

Opportunity cost of not using your TC chip may exceed that when rotation is predictable.

I think it'd be tough to take if Sanchez gets a brace or even worse two, when you benched boosted to get an extra 10 points.

      • 10 Years

It is difficult issue. Depends what you are left with after GW33. However if you have set your team up for GW34 BB , get a side out for 35 and ultimately 11 DGW for TC in 37 it is not possible to deviate from this plan in order to get 15 DGW in 37. Unless what you are left with is dross take the medicine and stick with the original plan.

I'm saving my wildcard to max out in GW37, on the basis that a horribly unbalanced team only needs to survive one more week to get over the line. Triple Captain this week. I actually used Bench Boost last week, got me 40 pts, so pretty happy with how it turned out.
But if I had Wildcarded to Bench Boost this week, I'd be sticking with the gameplan.

        Similar situation.

This was my intention too. I have come to the conclusion that if Pool go out tonight I'll probably break the glass and play it though.

If Norwich beat Sunderland this weekend, and Newcastle drop points to Swansea there will be a big gap from 17th to the rest and there could be a lack of incentive for a lot of the options I was counting on

    A) Sanchez for fabregas, Milner for Mahrez, Toby for smAlling, Moreno for Daniels
    B) Sanchez for fabregas, Firmino for Mahrez, Toby for Moreno, Daniels for 5.1 mil defender

    A) Smalling & Rashford
    B) Fosu & Martial

First 1 in both a & b cancel each other out so probably b as I feel sure Rooney will get some of the Rashford minutes.

Smalling is absolutely nailed on though, Fosu could easily not start one of the games

Finding it hard to avoid temptation to do Lukaku to Martial, especially since I can field 11 for DGW35 either way.

Any reason not to? (Trolling aside!)

I'd use TC or use some more transfers to do a bench boost... unless you think you can add value to bench boost in 37 when Liverpool, West Ham, Sunderland and Norwich have double home gameweeks while ManU, Watford, Chelsea and Everton have double away gameweeks

FFFix Game week Live feature probably useless this weekend, since it doesn't account for BB or TC chips.

Janmaat out & Barkley probably out puts a spanner in the works

Original plan was Bolassie to Milner

Think now I have to go Barkley to Nasri and use up my Liverpool spot on a defender to replace Janmaat

Who's the most nailed option , I'd like Moreno but guessing he's not

      I think Clyne.
