Have we fallen hook, line and sinker? After taking a beating by a cast of talent sacrificed in our Gameweek 33 Wildcards, it certainly feels we’ve obliviously wandered over a trapdoor and slammed back down to earth.

We’re back up to full strength in the ScoutCast as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to compare the bruises inflicted by our Gameweek 33 refresh. We endevour to remain optimistic, clinging to the hope that the Gameweek 34 bench boost chip will deliver and help us balm the damage from a disastrous weekend.

Judging by the line of questioning from the community, we’re not the only ones smarting. The four of us pick through your bout of queries, before looking ahead the weekend and the Gameweek that could yet revive our seasons.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first aired live on our YouTube channel on Wednesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get a heads up on future broadcasts.

    Also my bench is currently

    Ruddy , Alli , Fuchs , dier .

I'm still bench boosting even with these sgw players , do you consider it a waste ? My starting 11 has 10 dgw players .?

I don't think you'll get a better bench as that for the rest of the season

It doesn't really matter how good or bad starting 11 are, just how likely they are all to play. Probably gw 36 or 37 are the only real alternatives for BB'ing--what will your bench look ike for those games? How likely is it that you'll even have four likely starters on your bench by then?

Looking for Lennon replacement with with 5.9.

    A) Townsend (gives me 11 in GW 35)
    B) Lingard
    C) other option..

    (Lanzini, Iwobi not an option)

Proof that Christmas has come early for FFS players: once you’ve picked your team and played Bench Boost, your team page with all the red shirts (I’m just guessing here), green background and green highlights along the bottom of the bench row make it look exactly like a Christmas tree.

For those who have all 3 chips available, whens the next best time to play AOA & TC if you WC'd these past weeks?

Esp if you play BB this week.

Sorry bottomed.......playing bench boost this weekend but expect team to be heavily rotated....what is my best bet?

    A
Delaney to fosu and hoped-for the best?

    B
Gabriel and coutinho to smalling and iwobi for a hit....getting rid of 1 maybe 2 rotation risks but also means an extra hit for gw35

    Team is

    Robles darlow
    Bellerin sakho Gabriel Simpson Delaney
    Sanchez payet lanzini kdb coutinho
    Kun lukaku martial

    Thanks!

    1) which one is best pick.

    A- Rashford B - Origi

    2) pick 2.

    Alli Mahrez Toby Huth

    3) is this week best week to TC and if so who?

    1. WE GO FOR IT

    B) Daniels and Bolasie -> 6.2m defender and Iwobi for a -4?

Personaly I dont see much point in owning Daniels for rest of the season. They have very tought matches and I woud ship him out as fast as possible. However Smalling is great to have so I woud be looking for a option to get rid of Daniels and get in Smalling and taking more hits. 🙁

If you dont want to take more hits go for B

    If Barkley out, Barkley to:
    A) Milner
    B) Firmino?
    C) Nasri
    Other?

Milner/Nasri would allow better balance in team for later.
    My team:
    Robles**
    Bellerin** Delaney** Simpson
    Mahrez Sanchez** Barkley** (doubt) Payet**
    Aguero** Lukaku**

    Bench boost:

Ruined my season last week bringing in Sakho, Lovren and Coutinho - plus binning Toby-Alli-Huth-Williams-Siggy-Vardy.

Anyway would you use your FT to get one of the liverpool guys out?

Would have to be for a Gw35 playing player

    Ddg - robles
    Bellerin - gabriel - smalling - lovren - sakho
    Coutinho - KDB - Payet - Lingard - Sanchez
    Aguero - Mitrovic - Lukaku

I woud save my FT and see what happens. You have a great setup and there is no point in changing at this point. I sure that Lovren and Sakho wil play 2/3 games in GW 34 and GW35, same with Couthino. Couthino can easly come from the bench and score or get a assist.

I am really confused what to do...I am just under 40 points behind the league leader and I got do something. Leading my other league, but winning only 1/2 leagues is like winning nothing at all.

    Team:
    Mignolet Robles
    Gabriel Bellerin Delaney Sakho Morgan
    Sanchez Coutinho Mahrez Lennon Payet
    Kun Lukaku Martial

    My options
    a) Gabriel, Delaney, Lennon -> Fosu, Mangala??, Iwobi (-8)
    b) Delaney, Lennon -> Fosu, Townsend (only option leading to no hits for GW 35) (-4)
    c) Lennon -> Lanzini
    d) Delaney -> Fosu

The problem for me is that I don't have any money ITB, so I pretty much cannot get rid of Lennon without a hit (except to Lanzini but that would mean Payet + Lanzini in the mid). Really worried about Pool's rotation also, but there is really nothing to do about that except hoping for the best.

    Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Cheers!
