Have we fallen hook, line and sinker? After taking a beating by a cast of talent sacrificed in our Gameweek 33 Wildcards, it certainly feels we’ve obliviously wandered over a trapdoor and slammed back down to earth.

We’re back up to full strength in the ScoutCast as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to compare the bruises inflicted by our Gameweek 33 refresh. We endevour to remain optimistic, clinging to the hope that the Gameweek 34 bench boost chip will deliver and help us balm the damage from a disastrous weekend.

Judging by the line of questioning from the community, we’re not the only ones smarting. The four of us pick through your bout of queries, before looking ahead the weekend and the Gameweek that could yet revive our seasons.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first aired live on our YouTube channel on Wednesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get a heads up on future broadcasts.

You can view the full “hangout” version via the second player below or stream the edited audio from this link or the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      But his finishing is not.

You have a case for keeping Bolasie then. I'd still get rid tho.
Iwibo, Nasri, Milner are 3 good replacements

But he tends not to... that's why he's not good at finishing.

I'd argue there are plenty of players who are good at finishing... Sigurdsson, Firmino, Lanzini. Don't understand that comment.

Just finished this weeks podcast. WOW, usually like to start my day with positive podcasts but that really was doom and gloom, especially Mark, thank god for Luke to be the sage voice reiterating "can we just talk about this next week please after the double gameweek we based our wildcard plans around?".

Was Mark feeling guilt from pushing the all out 15 double gameweek players and felt he had to admit he'd made a mistake and therefore be pessimistic?

I followed that advice and still had a decent gameweek with the likes of Aguero, Sturridge, Iwobi, Sanchez, Delaney, Robels, (shame about Jag).

Come on guys, next week I can see being a booming week still!

    Contrarian post:

There could be significant rotation for Liverpool defence on the first game of GW34 and for GW36 (sandwiched in between both EL semi-finals).

Is it mad to just get a Spurs defender back, instead of buying a Pool defender for Delaney?

DGW mania aside, Spurs have a settled team, play for the title and have a fixture in GW35.

Is there a case for going Kun(TC) over Alexis(TC)? Even considering Ozil. I'm chasing by 40-50 pts on 2 rivals now after a pretty bad GW33.. Rival 1 is gonna play BB and do not have Kun or Ozil, with Alexis(C) I'm pretty sure. Rival 2 has got Kun (not Ozil), but I'm pretty sure he's gonna play Alexis(TC). Was all set on Alexis(TC), but is this a good opportunity to gamble on another?
