Have we fallen hook, line and sinker? After taking a beating by a cast of talent sacrificed in our Gameweek 33 Wildcards, it certainly feels we’ve obliviously wandered over a trapdoor and slammed back down to earth.

We’re back up to full strength in the ScoutCast as Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to compare the bruises inflicted by our Gameweek 33 refresh. We endevour to remain optimistic, clinging to the hope that the Gameweek 34 bench boost chip will deliver and help us balm the damage from a disastrous weekend.

Judging by the line of questioning from the community, we’re not the only ones smarting. The four of us pick through your bout of queries, before looking ahead the weekend and the Gameweek that could yet revive our seasons.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first aired live on our YouTube channel on Wednesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get a heads up on future broadcasts.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      I've been warming to Nasri all week, but suddenly I've got cold feet.

      Lanzini is better for 34, but blank in 35 is an issue. How about Townsend? Newcastle may actually get something out of a heavily rested Liverpool in GW35!?

    Hitting the bench-boost. Got 2 FT but just gonna do Ward > Fosu... G2G?

    Mignolet / Darlow
    Bellerin / Rojo / Fosu / Fuchs / Simpson

    Sturridge / Lukaku / Rashford

    How many minutes for this lot for GW34 (yes I do have them all in my squad…sigh…also have Bolasie but resigned to keeping him now):

    A – Darmian
    B – Clichy
    C – Lovren
    D – Gabriel
    E – Barkley
    F – Lennon
    G – Coutinho
    H – Lukaku

      I was already considering Lukaku to Origi this week.

      I'm always torn on whether to stick or twist with him but after his poor return last week and considering the blank next week I might just bite the bullet and do it. I know Origi and Sturridge will most likely share minutes but I still think it could pay off.

    Opinions on this?

    Robles - Cech
    Simpson - Ward - Sakho - Darmian - Bellerin
    Lanzini - Lennon - Coutinho - Payet - Sanchez
    Lukaku - Kane - Aguero

    Lennon getting injured and Darmian out of favour are posing problems for my bench boosting plans.

    Any suggestions on how to go about that? Darmian and Lennon supposedly need to go. Got one free transfer so it includes a hit.
    Looking at Nasri/Milner and Moreno/Mensah. Already have two Liverpool players before these transfers.

    Lennon -> Payet
    Lukaku -> Mitrovic

    For a -8. What do you reckon?

    Robles - Mignolet
    Monreal - Gabriel - Sakho - Dann - Simpson
    KDB - Coutinho - Lennon - Lanzini - Sanchez
    Aguero - Martial - Lukaku

    This is so messed up, wildcarded next week to bring all my DGW players in and I'm now considering taking a -8 which consists of bringing two Spurs players in for DGW players.

    Gabriel to Alderweireld (rotation risk imo and frees Arsenal spot for Iwobi)

    Coutinho to Iwobi (Obvious rotation imminent with EL)

    Lukaku to Kane (Already have Martial and Aguero and no other DGW picks are better than Kane imo, plus he has a great GW35 fixture)

    Can't see any fixes that would be better than this. Such a terrible wildcard..

    Which of the following options do you prefer:

    A) Pieters (suspended) + Wimmer -> Fosu-Mensah + Smalling

    B) Kompany + Vardy -> Smalling + Martial

    C) Pieters + Wimmer + Vardy -> Fosu-Mensah + Smalling + Martial (-4)

    Have 2 FT's and will be WC'ing in GW 36.

    Leaning towards C as I can keep Kompany for 35, and I Think Martial is a really exciting 1 week move. I know it will probably be expensive as I will take a hit to get in and will probably take a hit to get a 3rd striker in for GW 35.

    What do you Think?

      I'd be tempted by C, and probably do Martial back to Vardy in 35 in you're WCing the next week.

      Can you get Martial and TFM without getting Smalling? And then keep Komp.

        Yeah I can do Pieters and Vardy to TFM and Martial.

        Just a little but worried that TFM won't play both matches and if he does, that man u double def seems really tempting .

      It would really depend on whether the league champions have been determined, top 4 places, and relegation battle.

      I think what is more significant is that Sanchez is now the standout captain option for ANY double gameweek.
