Saturday’s curtain-closer finds Chelsea and Manchester City colliding at Stamford Bridge. The Blues’ 15-match unbeaten streak came to an end at the hands of Swansea City last Gameweek, while City will be buoyant following their midweek Champions League triumph.

Despite recording the second-most attempts (69) of any team in their previous quartet of league ties, Man City charted in the bottom half for big chances (four), underlining their inefficiency at carving out clear-cut opportunities. Manuel Pellegrini’s men excelled from a defensive standpoint during that period – conceding two goals and the fewest shots inside the box (18) – and have registered two more clean sheets (nine) than any team on their travels.

Only three teams tallied more goals than Chelsea (11) in their last six fixtures, highlighting the Londoners’ renewed attacking impetus under Gus Hiddink. Although Chelsea have only conceded four times in their previous four outings, the fact they ranked joint-fourth for shots inside the box conceded (35) and joint-sixth for big chances surrendered (six) exposes a lack of resolve that the visitors could exploit.

Wow.. My ML rival captained Siggy and played Alli over Ozil?? Could have been a disaster if he captained Aguero. He's 450th OR somehow..

Today he has Gomes and Aguero TC. Two games and all of a sudden he's back in touching distance...

Kudos to all those that had aguero as C or TC.
I got swayed by the fact arsenal had 2 home games & citys were away so wasnt expecting an aguero riot! Damn ir

In the end the early season thought of triple captaining Aguero for a DGW would have been the right thing to do.

TC Lukaku last week. Captain Ozil over Aguero this DGW. Don't have Sanchez.

I knew Cash league leader would captain Sanchez. He got Townsend in too.

My hangover is feeling worse now I realize $400 top prize has slipped away

        Exactly

A lot of us were suspect over their away form too, and the chance of rest for the CL.

That's why I went Sanchez, for safety

True, I think the fixtures swung it. Couldn't have predicted 3 goals away to Chelsea.

Indeed, away form not good and thought chelsea game would be low scoring, still newcastle should have been enough for us to see sense, still sanchez captain wasnt a bad call at all, well on paper anyway.

Didn't go off, just though Sanchez would get more points, given that city had 2 away fixtures and Arsenal two good home games. Let's all wait until tomorrow to see how Sanchez does before everyone shits themselves. 2 goals + CS point for Sanchez and he's basically on par with aguero. Not like he hasn't done that before
