      Yeah a bit.

And to be honest I didn't really expect that much of him against Leicester before the game. But some involvement from him or Antonio would have been nice. Now hoping for a Watford thrashing

I honestly have no idea why Cissé started in the first place. There must be some beef between Rafa and Mitrovic. Only logical explanation.

Firmino is averaging a goal/assist every 107 minutes this season- better than Ozil (113), De Bruyne (116), Mahrez (118) and Payet (131).

    1. George Sillett

Definately on the radar for next season and should be reasonably priced comparatively with the others.

Fingers crossed that's the rest and rotation done with,

Klopp will want to win the Merseyside derby, and Arsenal, City, United have got to win games.

I think it will be back to normal on Weds. Although Sturridge and Ibe may have earned starts. Then it'll be back to the kids for Newcastle at home. Lottery from then on, but the further they get in the Europa League, the worse FPL prospects their players become.

      1. Les Bleus
        • 14 Years

It's too late to worry to be honest. They have a two leg semi final which will see rotation until the end of the year. The final is way after the end of the season if I remember correctly.

I can get 12 out (with a hit with which I'll get rid of one of my Pool players as I don't feel comfortable owning 3 of them even with those fixtures).

How can you say that without even having seen him play yet this week? Spurs and Kane could look terrible tomorrow. Dumb statement imo

        1. Les Bleus
          • 14 Years
          9 years, 12 months ago

Because he's the top scorer in the league. Do you need more of a reason?

            • 16 Years
            9 years, 12 months ago

Ofc. Surely the fact that he has one more goal than Aguero doesn't decide it for you. What does that matter?

              • 14 Years
              9 years, 12 months ago

True, but I think Kun will either rest that game, or play 60 minutes (yes he can do some damage then). But Kane is 100% playing at least 85 minutes.

Fair enough... a proper reason at least 🙂

I would still take a good look at Spurs tomorrow before making such sweeping statements, but that's just me. Sheer confidence in Spurs and Kane i suppose!

I really hope Stoke win 3-0 and score early as well. That's the difference between a good week and an epic week in terms of mini league. I chucked all my spurs players, the rivals have 2/3 obvious choices still in the team.

On the plus side, 60 points with Sanchez(c) not getting injured!

Downside getting Milner for Bolasie and like most 5 or 6 players doing nothing. Should be well over the ton by Thurs eve though. Need a star show from Milner as it's really cheesed me throwing those points away!

    Gabriel owner here.

Just watching MotD2, incredible how far Gabriel let Adebayor travel with the ball before their goal.

Cech mistake in letting it in but Mertesacker would for certain have cut out Adebayor's run at the half way line (as he knows he has no pace to rely upon) - Adebayor was there to be strongly tackled. Pathetic defending

Probably not, Wright just pointing to exactly what I was thinking throughout the entire run on MotD2 now.

Around 3 or 4 chances to slide tackle and put the ball out of play, lets him travel 70 yards and get the ball into Bolasie who scores.

The only person to blame for the Bolasie goal is Cech.

      He should have done better.

But Arsenal should have killed the game off and got a second.

Gabriel had a good match IMO.

How can only the goalkeeper be at fault for a ball going from an Arsenal shot to a Palace goal in 30 seconds?

He made a huge mistake, as I said, but the reason it was allowed to travel that far was Gabriel's poor defending. As just outlined by Arsenal legend Ian Wright on MotD2. Owning Gabriel on FPL doesn't absolve him of any blame, I didn't want him to make that mistake in letting Adebayor run 70 yards either. Much preferred the extra 8 points from him and Kos.

Take your FPL spectacles off lads.

It's not just the lack of goals for me, I'm not keen on the fouling and diving I've seen in recent games. Admittedly, I didn't see many of their earlier games when they were scoring more and possibly cheating less.

I think they have to do all that just to get onto a level playing field with the rest of those Top4 cheating scumbags!! Amount of cheating and deception in the game is laughable.

Not to mention it's great practise for next season's champions league where they will have to roll out all the dark arts to get past some of those teams! 🙂

Altered approach last 2 months or so. Or rather, defending teams have altered their approach towards Leicester. Leaving far less space and showing more respect in their lineups. Eg Obiang rather than Lanzini today.

Free flowing and excellent to watch for the first few months of the season, unfortunately most of that wasn't televised.

      1. chinmusic

You make a great point about the lack of televised games. I think I would be rolling more with the whole Leicester wave if I'd watched their earlier games.

I completely agree. But you have to give them and especially Ranieri credit for being able to shift tactics like that. And I completely understand why they did it as they had a chance for a CL spot - and now tve title!

I think we have seen the true hand of Liverpool now, rotation to be strong for Europa League is their goal now, safely upper mid table, bit too far away to trouble top 4, makes sense, he doesn't want to lose any of the matches though so will still keep it competitive.
