Anyone else thinking of just ignoring Kane for the rest of the season?

think it's foolish to go without Kane and Aguero and I wish I leveraged my Kane draft on WC instead of maximizing DGWers...Mitro was a bust, for example..

i currently have Kun Sturridge Welbeck. Welbz has sun, NOR in the next 2 gwks, then i can grab a Carrol or Defoe for the dgw. I have already done Bolasie to alli this gw. Would require an 8pt hit to get Kane so i'm thinking i'm better off without him

I think you guys have an easier route to Kane than me...gotta consider my situation here

      Robles
      Bellerin, Sakho, Simpson
      Sanchez, Firmino, Payet*, Alli
      Kun, Sturridge, Welbeck

      Darlow, Lanzini*, Dann*, Holebas*

0FT (Bolasie to Alli done) 1.6m

It requires two more transfers/8pt hit for me to get Welbeck to Kane. I'm thinking i'm better off doing Dann to Azpi for a hit to field 11 this week then come gw 37 turn Welbz into Carroll, Defoe. As i said above Welbz has sun, NOR in his next two so could be worth holding. Also, please no one mention Holebas lol

      1. Nabs Kebabs

Another problem with going for Kane this week is i have get him for Welbz i can only afford a 4.4m def in for Dann. This def will likely sit on my bench considering Bellerin(sun) Simpson(SWA) Sakho(NEW) and i would be taking a hit for him aswell

Welbeck needs to go. He won't keep starting and you know you'll need kane. The hit will be worthwhile if you get the right players in and sell the right players. Perhaps downgrading Dan could get you there.

Looking at some opinions, will appreciate your inputs.

    Darlow/Robles
    Bellerin/Smalling/Sakho/Clichy/PVA
    Sanchez/Ozil/Coutinho/Payet/Milner
    Aguero/Mitrovic/Carroll

    A. Clichy -> Rose
    B. Clichy/Coutinho -> Rose/Alli (-4)
    C. Clichy/Carroll -> Rose/Defoe (-4)

    Any others?

        With 0.1 ITB.

So yes. With a -8 and going balls in with Spurs.
Not sure if thats putting too much on the plate of SGW players for GW37.
Though going by looks of things, not much attractive DGW players anyway

In order to field 11 this week:

    A) Martial > Defoe (-4)
    B) Clichy > Rose (-4)
    C) Both for -8

Could do neither if Clichy is available.

      B. Depending on how likely your other playing players will start.
Otherwise getting rid of Martial will only be a -2

Worried about taking an -8 to get three Spurs in this week and not dealing with Liverpool players. I have Sahko Milner and Sturridge.

    Would you do this:

Rojo, Ozil, Mitrovic > Rose, Alli, Kane ?

    Robles/Darlow
    Sakho Simpson TFM Rojo Bellerin
    Sanchez Ozil Payet Milner Lanzini
    Mitro Kun Sturridge

Following a series of no-shows from Milner, Darmian, Coutinho & 1-pointers from Martial and sakho - yesterday was huge.

    144(-4) and rose from 5.9k to 793.

Highest gw score and highest rank (with Alexis (c), Gabriel and Bellerin to go)

I think we are in a classic situation of 'take your money and run'. We rolled the dice big time with no Kane and Ali but I don't think we can continue to roll that dice, we'll end up losing badly.

Yeah big gains all round, and same here. Those gains can be rapidly lost though if we don't have these two players who have form, fixtures, and high ownership. Maybe better to lock in the gains now?

I think you could be right actually...dgw 37 doesn't look as good as this one to me. If you look at my team on my post at the top of this page though i think i'm better off without Kane as it is tricky to fit him in. But yeah i suppose most people should just be sticking Kane and Alli back in this gw and be done with it

I know I can end up losing badly without those two, but I'm still chasing in MLs and OR. A big green this week without them shows that I can still make the climb if I get the right alternatives, and the jump would be bigger if both of them slow down by any chance. So I think I still need to keep the dice rolling.

Fosu Mensah should go. He won't get the game time you need and you can definitely do better. Presumably cash is a bit tight but I'd still rather a Sunderland defender in his place.

I have to decide on dropping either Coutinho, Firmino, or Lanzini for Alli. Firmino is almost essential to Liverpool now with Origi out. Coutinho was rested this week and I doubt he'll need another one with a 5 day break between Newcastle and Villareal.

Only one is guaranteed not to play. Firmino looks good as he went off early. Coutinho played the full game which isn't great and Klopp will rotate the team.

Out of the two, which would you keep?

Can still get 11 out this GW by doing Cout/Firm to Alli and Martial to Kane. Otherwise it's keep both and maybe do Martial and Carroll out for Kane and Defoe (would leave 11 playing and a sub)

Just secured a huge 2 point lead overall in my ML tonight. But had a question for yal..

This GW my main rival had Kane but no Alli and 1 FT... I looked tonight before the risers/fallers and he had already made 2 transfers to his team with a value 103.6 and 0.6 ITB... After the price rises I looked to see if he maybe got Alli in and it was still exactly 103.6 with 0.6 ITB.

Does this mean that he not only didn't get Alli in but he sold Kane as well? for a hit?! Am I correct with this?

Don't know for sure. Maybe they block out details like price rises and TV changes to avoid people guessing stuff like this til the new GW starts. Play your best team and don't worry about rivals is what I say.

I'm fairly positive you can see people's value change throughout the gameweek though. If they represented a 0.2 change tonight and his value didn't change at all.. Then he must have neither of them. That's pretty significant to know I'd say.

    Darlow Robles*
    Gabriel Kosceilny Sakho Mangala Rojo*
    Ozil Firmino Coutinho Bolasie* Payet*
