Martial or Sturridge on WC until the end of the season?

Sturridge would probably edge it but am I just going to end up losing out to his minutes?

      Sturridge by a mile

Ignore his minutes recently, he came off the bench and ended up scoring more in 30 minutes than Martial did over a whole 90 last game

Okay forget Spurs and Arsenal on your wildcard defence.

With 8 double gameweek teams, I'd suggest covering each defence bar Chelsea (holidaying and bad fixtures) and Liverpool (rotation central), leaving 7 spots for 6 defences while probably doubling up on West Ham. That leaves something like:

          Gomes, Ruddy
          Smalling, Jagielka, Cresswell, Reid, Kirchoff

It looks sick, covers all the bases, doesn't break the bank and is strong in each of the 3 gameweeks.

As for your questions A1 for me. Purely because I am sceptical of Sturridge's start time.

They aren't needed with the back 7 above. In 36 you have Watford vs Villa, Everton vs Bournemouth and WBA vs West Ham. In 38 you have Everton vs Norwich, Watford vs Sunderland, Man U vs Bournemouth and Stoke vs West Ham and all 7 have a dgw in between.

Guess so. I wondered if he's now actually first place and, with the final not until the end of the season, he might start at least 36 and the double 37. Would be good for LVG's legacy (bringing through young players)...

    @Rhinos

Chelsea put 4 past Bournemouth because Bournemouth have nothing to play for either.

Villa have been were relegated against United, and since then they just conceded 4 to Southampton who are arguably trying to get Europe despite the odds.

I just think that's a comparison to apples and oranges. You have three examples to consider:

    1) Team with nothing to play for V Team with something to play for
    2) Team with nothing to play for v Team with nothing to play for

Chelsea fall under #1 four times in their next fixtures, whereas the game against Bournemouth was an example of #2

By all means punt on their players, I might even do so myself in an attempt to win my cash league if the gap widens. Yes Chelsea will grab goals, but why won't it be Willian or Pedro or Costa? In fact Id sooner have Willian for price, set pieces, advanced position and his stats (playing as forward as Hazard recently with as much threat as Pedro)

As I said I may go with one, but Willian entices me most.

Especially from a VORP point of view

If my ML wasn't so close I would punt, but 1200 quid up for grabs

What's he been doing wrong lately?

Chelsea's best player all season, on set pieces.

Look at the stats from last game; played in a similar advanced position as Hazard, same attacking threat as Pedro, he scored a goal, costs 3.9m less than Hazard which in terms of VORP is ideal

    Score check?

Massive score for me with my Pelle punt paying off spectacularly.

    9 (-4)

PS It would be rude not to include Eden on the wc yes?

One thing that is certain is that Bellerin will play.

Wenger on Khazri: “He is very good at delivering set-pieces and takes all their set-pieces. He works hard for the team as well. He is a guy that Hector Bellerin will have to keep quiet."

    what to do with sakho?

i have very decent team and great subs : Lanzini and Gabriel

so might as well roll FT and loose some valute while waiting for more news

my def for next gw is : Bellerin , Smalling , Simpson and can't see any standout replecemant for Sakho

all these goal scoring feats in la liga are an embarrassment. not to the players who score them-there is no doubting their talent-but the league as a whole and those who have decided that barca and real rule the roost money wise and everyone else plays second fiddle (which makes Athletico's achievements all the more remarkable, they are the only team stopping la liga from turning into the SPL of the 90s). it just isn't a fair fight and hasn't been for some time. suarez's 8th goal in two games is just proof at how ridiculous the league has become.

barca and real are best two clubs on the planet

let's see how ,,weak'' spain teams will demolish liverpool in thursday

how manny times has sevilla won el in recent years??

clubs like sevilla, real and even celta vigo are well capable of beating any english side

I think this 'two best clubs on the planet thing' is jettisoned the minute you realise not one of them has managed to defend a champions league title since its inception. do you really think7- 8-9 nil shorelines on a weekly basis, players getting hat tricks three or four games running is a healthy thing for any league?

Just playing around with a DGW squad. These are my essentials:

        GK - DDG
        Def - PVA, Creswell, Smalling
        Mid - Sanchez, Payet, Hazard
        Forward - Kane, Sturridge

        Rest is chop and change

I'd question Hazard, but I know you like your punts. I think if you're spending 10.8 on a punt, though, you'll need to compromise elsewhere.
