With Saturday’s matches behind us, we thought we’d drop in and draw your attention to an opportunity to extend your Fantasy Football weekend.

Sky Sports have recently launched a brand new free-to-play game that offers no less than £10,000 in prize money each week.

Fantasy Six-a-Side is an app-based game that’s focused on one of Sky Sports’ live matches. This weekend you can join the game and get involved for tomorrow’s Etihad meeting between Man City and Arsenal.

Fantasy Six-a-Side is simple to grasp but has some pretty neat and unique mechanics.

You start by choosing an “Elite Player” from the handpicked selection that Sky have identified as the key players in the match. For this weekend, you can choose from Sergio Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

You then have to complete your six-aside team, filling your five spots from the two clubs: there are no player values, formations or restrictions on the positions you can select.

You then choose a “Power Play” period of the match – during this 15-minute spell, your team will earn double points. There six periods to choose from making up the 90 minutes.

Finally, you need to predict the time of the first goal or “Golden Goal” – this is used as a decider should two or more managers be tied for a cash prize.

Once you’ve confirmed your squad, you can change your lineup right up until Sunday’s four o’clock kick-off.

While the rules are simple, the scoring is reassuringly detailed and based on the Opta data we know so well.

Players earn points for goals, assists and clean sheets as you would expect but this is supplemented by points for match events like successful passes, chances created, tackles, blocks and clearances.

You can get a full rundown of the game’s scoring matrix here.

As mentioned, the game is free and comes with a guaranteed prize of £10,000 and, with only one account per entry, the game isn’t dominated by multi-entrant managers.

If you’re already playing the regular Sky Sports Fantasy Football game then you can use your same login to get started. If not, you can register via the site here or download the IOS app here or grab it via Google Play here.

There’s a full FAQ on the game here.

We’ve got our initial squad sorted and we’ve also set up a Fantasy Football Scout league for tomorrow’s game – the league name is “Fantasy Football Scout” and the PIN is “8023597”.

To join just hit the “Leagues” menu option and select “Join/Create”. From this screen, you’ll be asked to enter the League Name and PIN information provided above. Simply click the ‘Join League’ button to confirm your entry into our League.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Anyone else that would be happy with just an assist from payet vs utd!?

      I would. Because I didn't captain him

I'd be even more happy if he refrained from points altogether

Just wondering if anyone has been as dumb as me so far?

Ranked 4000 before this weekend, I pressed the bench boost chip. The screen said it was activated so I thought all good. Now that the gameweek has started I have noticed that it is still available. After looking through my history it seems that none of my chips have worked. I will be finishing the season with two spare chips. Hope they let me take it into next season haha

Yep that seems to be the case. Great time to work that out when there is only one game week left.

Wow!! You reached the top 4K, whilst not even looking closely enough at your scores to realise that a previously played TC hadn't worked!?

I think I need to take a good hard look at myself...

I thought I used the TC on lukaku during that double gameweek that he blanked so didn't pay attention to how much he made. Now I have to choose what chip to use for the last gameweek and make sure I confirm this time.

well i made this mistake when wanting to play Tripple captain Gw 34, although i quickly noticed but it will cost me quite a bit of points as i cant see anyone in Gw 38 get anywhere close to Sanchez 25.
