With Gameweek 38’s ten fixtures all taking place on Sunday, we’re still waiting on the majority of press conferences to be rolled out later today. Here’s what we have so far…

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Mesut Ozil has recovered from the minor hip problem that forced him to miss last week’s draw at the Etihad. Danny Welbeck is ruled out for nine months with the knee injury sustained against City, whilst Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains on the sidelines.

Sam Allardyce has revealed he plans to hand some younger players a run out away to Watford after Sunderland sealed their survival at home to Everton in midweek.

Vincent Kompany, David Silva and Pablo Zabaleta remain sidelined for City’s trip to Swansea. Aleksandar Kolarov requires a late fitness test, whilst Samir Nasri is “working normally” with the squad after missing out last weekend due to illness.

Adam Smith and Sylvain Distin are Bournemouth’s only absentees for the trip to Old Trafford, Eddie Howe has confirmed.

Swansea are optimistic that Jefferson Montero will recover from a hamstring problem in time for the weekend home match against Man City. Lukasz Fabianski is set to be rested, along with Ashley Williams, ahead of turning out for Poland in Euro 2016, whilst Gylfi Sigurdsson and Neil Taylor are both injured.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of Sunday’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream for breaking news – as the day unfolds, we will issue updates from Friday’s press conferences and refresh our Team News tab accordingly to keep you informed.

If you still have the chip left that gives you his last weeks points as well.

      Long or Tadic.

He's really not usually in the points.

So who's going to be next year's Siggy and join a "lower" team from one of the big boys at a cheap price?

    Benteke?
    Fellaini?
    Oxlade Chamberlain?

    Right guys, some advice please.

Got 8.6 to spend on a midfielder (selling coutinho)
Already have Payet, Antonio, Sanchez, Hazard. I already have 3 Man U and 3 West Ham.

I'm 26 points off the leader in my league. He has Mahrez, Sanchez, Payet, Firminho, Barkley. I'm assuming he will sell Firminho.

    So my thoughts are:
    Ramsey
    Iwobi
    Tadic
    Mane

    Any other suggestions?

Maybe Mata, but probably not. Arnoutovic at home should be an option.

Can't do Mata, already have 3 United.
Arnoutovic is a good shout, he has done me proud earlier in the season, although Stoke have been poor lately.

Chances are the leader will pick Mane or Tadic. I've got Iwobi but I not sure he'll start and he has been subbed around the 60 min mark recently. If I were you I'd pick and captain Mane ( presuming positive news from the press conference ) and hope your rival goes with the more consistent Tadic.

Yeh I was leaning towards Mane. Was defo going to captain someone he hasn't got, and Mane seems like a great shout.
Knowing him, he will transfer one of his players to copy one of mine, it's what he has been doing the last few weeks.
        Cheers for the advice.

    ----Arsenal v Villa---------
Villa Goals conceded in last 5: 10
Villa Goals conceded in last 5 AWAY games: 11

Arsenal Goals scored in last 5: 6
Arsenal Goals scored in last 5 HOME games: 9

Villa concede slightly more at home shipping at least 2 goals per game, while at home arsenal are scoring 1.8 goals at home.
It's the perfect situation, Main Target - Sanchez: 4 goals in 5 games

    ----Man United v Bournemouth---------
Man United Goals scored in last 5: 7
Man United Goals scored in last 5 HOME games: 6

Bournemouth Goals conceded in last 5: 10
Bournemouth Goals conceded in last 5 AWAY games: 7

Not as appealing as Arsenal/Villa, United averaging 1.2 goals per home game and Bournemouth conceding only 1.4 per away game.
Not bad though, worth a punt on Martial if he isn't rested for FA Cup, 3 goals in his last 5

    ----Southampton v Palace---------
Southampton Goals scored in last 5: 15
Southampton Goals scored in last 5 HOME games: 12

Palace Goals conceded in last 5: 5
Palace Goals conceded in last 5 away games: 8

Southampton are on fire at the minute averaging 3 goals per game and 2.4 goals per home game, on the other hand Palace have been very good defensively conceding only 1 goal per game and 1.6 per away game. It's hard to overlook a team in such red hot form, Main Targets: Tadic (2 goals, 6 assists in last 5), Mane (5 goals in 5) and Long (3 goals and 3 assists in his last 5)

        ----Swansea v Man City---------

Swansea Goals conceded in last 5 away games: 2

Man City Goals scored in last 5: 8
Man City Goals scored in last 5 HOME games: 10

Makes for miserable reading for Man City fans, Swans have amazing only scored 2 goals on the road while Man City have boasted better away form recently notching 2 goals per game on average. Main Target: Aguero 6 goals in 5

Yep I made the Tadic move, but am feeling worried about Defoe. May bench him and play 5 mids, Townsend is currently benched and could do OK against his old club.

Lanzini or PVA in for Defoe wouldn't be a bad backup for your lot.

It's not definite, but got a wedding to plan and potentially moving away, and I've realised that I actually enjoy football more when there's no FPL tension. I do love writing my FantasyYIRMA article though, so that may pull me back in.

Thats fair enough - i'll be honest i have done both wedding and moved and still kept up with FPL - admittely it wasnt my best year but where it wasnt as much of a priority i actually enjoyed it better. Up to you and do what you think is best but is a shame to hear regular posters stepping away

      Milner + Carroll/Defoe -> KdB + Iheanacho? 😉

Hahaha that's a typical IM move if ever I saw one. See above: not definite, but likely - I did it a few years ago and life was much less stressful!

Benching dilemma, choose one to drop from:

    A) Defoe
    B) Carroll
    C) Townsend

Giroud in (-4) for one of those strikers also a possibility, which could make the decision slightly easier. Any opinions?

What would you do with this lot?

    De Gea
    Azpilicueta - PvA - Smalling
    Hazard - Fabregas - Sanchez - Payet
    Defoe - Carroll - Giroud

    (Mannone, Cathcart, Reid, Firmino)

Hardly an ideal team but can't see hits being beneficial in the final GW.

    Darlow
    Smalling Gabriel Bellerin
    Sanchez (C) Hazard Payet Townsend
    Carroll Defoe Aguero

    Robles Cresswell PVA Firmino

    Hazard + Defoe > Tadic/Mane + Kane (-4)

Look good? Kane covers ML rival and Tadic/Mane has a good fixture!

    Current team:

    Darlow
    Bellerin Gabriel Smailling Cresswell
    Sanchez Hazard Payet
    Kane Carroll Deeney

    Robles Lennon Simpson Coutinho

Do you think it's worth doing Coutinho > KdB for -4 and starting ahead of Cresswell? Or just stick with Cresswell?

3 points behind rival so likely to be 7 behind after this.

    Thanks

If the chips didn't exist I would have won both my cash mini leagues and have a rank about 150k higher

as it was I tripled lukaku the week before aguero went mental and my bench boost included three players who only played once in a "double"

    I'm not bitter

    I am bitter

I said at the start of the season the chips would ruin this game and they have. They have also cost me about £300

    Bitter

When I used all out attack I fielded 8 players, only one of which was a striker...

        That chip is rubbish.

        I used them 33, 34, 35 - so hardly early!

In hindsight though everyone has benefited from a 34 triple (aguero or alexis) and 37 bench - that was the better move and most people did it wrong way around

I just don't like an increase in a luck factor

I would abolish captains all together if I could

I agree buddy. I'm top of my ml and second in the other just a few points behind. This is been the worse season cos of the lottery the chips have made it. All my mates think so too

Sad times last game week it's been some ups but more downs for my season.

My last post 🙁 for the season.
Currently ahead off my rival by 42pts.

What do you all reckon taking -4 surely I have won my money league.

    Coutinho》Tadic

    Caroll》Aguero

    Final Fantasy gw 38 team

    Darlow

    Bellerin Gabriel Darmian

    Sanchez (C) Hazard Payet Tadic

    Aguero Ighalo Rashford

Note gut says Giroud do well can't get him in 🙁

Good to go, or do a -4?

    Migno
    Gabriel Bellerin Smalling
    Sanchez Payet Mahrez Tadic
    Aguero Rashford Carrol

    robles, Firmino, PVA, morgan

    Leading with 70, 35 and chasing 35.

    Some guidance needed here please,

1ft which will be Carroll to Kane (have Aguero & Deeney)

Defense is my weak spot - Bellerin - PvA - Delaney - Evans - Darmian / Hennessy & Robles

Looking like I mightn't be able to field a goalie with rotation so do a take a hit for a goalie or a defender ? 14pts clear in ML.

    Thanks!
