I see that mentioned a lot but why is that the best time?
Because some teams will have already qualified and some will have to give everything to go though.
For example, if Germany are alerady assured to be 1st after 2 games, they're probably going to rest their top players, and you don't want to have Muller(10.5) not playingcheers
But most teams will still have to battle for the much desired 1st place finish on the last round. Very possibly even Germany. It hasn't been beyond them to draw a group stage match, and that suffices.
Of course, but with a WC to use anytime and one after the group stages, it seems like as good a time as any to WC

My reasons for after the 2nd are that france and swiss both have albania and romania in rds 1 and 2 and i'm loading up on them

Ok guys I have some new info on Strinic situation.
Yesterday on Croatian closed training first 10 minutes where opened for media. Croatian manager made first team with Strinic, later when media left he changed Strinic with Vrsaljko and put Kramarić on right forward wing for the rest of training. This was Croatian formation that trained for match against Turkey:
Srna - Čorluka - Vida - Vrsaljko
Badelj - Modrić - Rakitić
Kramarić - Perišić
Mandžukić
