With attentions turning towards the start of the Premier League campaign, we’ve published a new video previewing our Fixture Ticker tool.

The Fixture Ticker is long established as a key component on the site and has evolved into a vital tool for all our visitors, not least our Members, who enjoy a host of features to aid fixture analysis and selection strategies.

This video acts as both an introduction to the Fixture Ticker, highlighting how it’s launched and how the free version can be used, plus a guide for those with access to the Members version. It can be viewed as a whole or you can jump to the chapters that may interest you.

Those familiar with the Fixture Ticker should certainly note the chapter on rotation, which demonstrates how the Members ticker can be used to analyse potential pairings – a new feature for this season. You can see that element of the Ticker explained in full here.

This really is a powerful addition. By selecting any team and hitting “sort by rotation”, the ticker now ranks those teams most appropriate for rotation with the highlighted team over the Gameweek range you choose to display. You can apply this using both the attacking and defence filters to analyse rotation pairings in attack and defence. View this chapter to see this explained in full.

Here’s a rundown and links to all the chapters included:

If you fancy Germany to beat Italy then definitely top 1. He looked sharp last game. I'm a huge fan of Giaccherini so I'd keep him. He looks a real threat even if they do eventually concede

Don't think I'll be selling him, 4.0 enabler imo. Hoping Portugal will go through, otherwise I have both Guerreiro and Umtiti as non playing 4.0 defenders. But if they do, I think it doesn't hurt to have a 4.0 enabler in defence

If Belgium starts with Witsel and Nainggolan playing the way they did vs. Hungary, constantly leaving the area in front of their defenders bare and exposed, I think Ramsey is essential to have.

    Team for QF's

    Hennessey / Loris
    Jedz, Pazdan,Chester,Giaccherini,Hector
    Payet,Blasczcykowski,Hazard,Sanches,Ozil
    Bale,Ronaldo,Milik

Would love Griezman but would have to sacrifice Bale and 4 points. Worth it?

Damn, 4 Poland! Bale to Griezmann (-4) is not worth it.

I like how Mangala was in the original squad - Rami and Umtiti weren't (only there because of injuries). And they're both ahead of him in the pecking order 😆 (Umtiti supposedly is)

    Umtiti or Guerreiro?

I'm really edging towards the former - and I reckon he'll keep his place if France keep a CS (good enough chance). He's been brilliant for Lyon. Rami has also looked shaky recently.

Haha well we can see if Guerreiro will start or not and I will also look out for some updates on Umtiti. If both will start, I think the way to go is to have both. Both also have a decent chance on going through to the next round imo.

Went for Guerreiro. Too much chance of Umtiti being a one week punt.

Of course, thanks. Guerreiro is the safer option for sure (and we see lineups beforehand). Cheers all once again.

looking to add 2nd german defense. I already have Hector and would like to avoid spending on Hummels,on yellow, and Boateng and go with their 4th defender for 5.0 but not usre who will start. Any thoughts?
    Mustafi, Howedes ...?

    thanks

Mustafi nor Howedes will start. Boateng/Hummels still your safest bets.

Pogba, better chance of progressing and I think he's due a goal/assist even if Iceland will be hard to break down
