With the Euro 2016 semi-final stage set to get underway at 8pm tonight, we bring you news of a DraftKings offer that’s exclusive to Fantasy Football Scout.

If you’ve yet to register with DraftKings, they’re offering the opportunity of free entry to an upcoming contest for the semi-finals, which take place over the next couple of days.

Providing you sign up via this link before 4pm this afternoon, your account will be credited with $4 by 6pm tonight.

Players should then use the credit amount to enter the “EUROS $20k Sweeper” contest.

This contest starts at 8pm this evening and incorporates both semi-final fixtures, with Portugal and Wales going head-to-head tonight before France face Germany on Thursday.

Despite failing to win any of their first five matches in normal time, Portugal are slight favourites for their encounter with Wales.

Fernando Santos’ side lead their opponents by some margin when it comes to attempts on goal (95 to 60) but the Portuguese have been far more wayward with their efforts and managed just 28 shots on target to Wales’ 30.

Chris Coleman’s side are in buoyant mood after sweeping aside Belgium 3-1 last time out. Wales arrive in the last four as the second-top scoring team and have netted ten times to their opponents’ six, thanks to an impressive 16.7% goal conversion rate – higher than any side still remaining in the tournament.

France and Germany are difficult to separate in the other semi-final. The hosts clinched a place in the semi-finals with a devastating 5-2 thrashing of Iceland on Sunday, whilst Joachim Low’s men needed spot-kicks to advance past a stubborn Italy outfit.

The pair are near-identical for total attempts so far, with Germany just edging it by 95 shots to 90, though Les Bleus have been more clinical and netted 11 times to the World Champions’ seven.

As always, DraftKings allows us to scan the teamsheets before each fixture, adjusting your line-ups in search of some last-minute bargains.

Here’s our selection of DraftKings targets to help guide your picks ahead of the upcoming contest.

Gareth Bale – Wales – $9500
With Aaron Ramsey set to miss out through suspension, the Wales attacker’s contribution looks more vital than ever tonight. Set for a fascinating showdown against Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale leads the way for shots on target (14) for the tournament so far and his eye for goal may well make the difference as Chris Coleman’s side attempt to book a place in Sunday’s final.

Antoine Griezmann – France – $9300
Top scorer for the tournament with four strikes to his name, the France forward has thrived since being moved into a central support role by Didier Deschamps. Griezmann has bagged three goals and two assists in his last couple of outings and looks in fine form as the hosts seek to break down a Germany defence that’s conceded just a single goal so far.

Mesut Ozil – Germany – $7700
A secure starter under Joachim Low, the midfielder bagged his first goal of Euro 2016 by netting the opener against Italy last time around. Up against a France defence that’s been breached three times in their last two matches, Ozil will be instrumental to Germany’s prospects tomorrow night – the Arsenal man is number one for both shots on target and chances created for the World Champions and is also joint-top for successful crosses over his five appearances.

Renato Sanches – Portugal – $4800
Handed his first start of Euro 2016 in the previous round, Portugal’s teenage winger showed just why Bayern Munich were prepared to spend heavily to secure his signature this summer. Sanches opened the scoring in the 1-1 draw against Poland and, having played from start to finish last time out, looks to have secured his role in the first XI for tonight’s encounter.

Andy King – Wales –$3700
The Welshman looks a handy option for the utility role in our eight-man DraftKings line-ups. King is favourite to replace the suspended Ramsey in Chris Coleman’s starting XI for the encounter against Portugal and his ball-winning ability in the centre of the park suggests the Leicester midfielder could prove excellent value at a cost of just $3700.

To register an account and qualify for free entry to the contest, please be aware you can only do so via this link.

DraftKings is available only to those aged 18 or over. Be sure to take note of their Terms and Conditions here and play responsibly.

Thinking no clean sheets at all in these two games. Attacking threat only. Own Neuer and Hector

    A) Boateng
    B) Pepe
    C) Williams
    D) Guerreiro
    E) Taylor

Would appreciate feedback on this team below.

    Rui - Lloris
    Boateng - Guerreiro - Chester - Sagna - Howedes
    Ozil - Payet - Sanches - Pogba - Draxler
    Griezmann (C2) - CR7 (C1) - Bale

    French = 5, Germany = 4, Portugal = 4, Wales = 2

No mention of Costa so far.
    *Good fixtures
    *Surely still nailed on
    *Summer break
*He may be cheaper than he was last season
*His goalscoring record speaks for itself.
    *Probably a differential

If he has a good pre-season and is at a reasonable price he will be well worth considering IMO.
    Thoughts?

All very true. I'll definitely consider, but doubt I'll have him. Bit of a card magnet which is frustrating. Also better options in the premium bracket. Haz is the only Chelsea attacker for me atm.

He will more than likely have support up front so he won't have to go charging all over the place, only prob before is that if he scores he very rarely gets bonus.

You will only need 11 players for the final. You have 15 in the semi finals, so you only need 5 to progress to the final in order to have 11. 5 + your 6 FT = 11

Pogba or Gotze, cash no issue. However, I am having Ozil, Draxler, Muller and Payet only as attackers/ mid'ers from their teams.

    1. Camp No No

In that case maybe spread and have Pogba for more security for the final.

But if that's no issue to you, then have Götze who at least might start upfront, while Pogba will play DM. Götze might just as well start on bench too, though.

Think he'll be a viable fantasy pick?

Really? Is he still a small fella? Hmmm. Was always so inconsistent before, showed flashes of real talent and ability but would only play an 8/10 or 3/10. No inbetween.

    A) Ozil
    B) Gotze

    1) Patricio
    2) Lloris

(own Cedric, no France defence - don't see them keeping a cleaner against Germany though)

Gérard Linard, the president of the Belgian football federation, says that Belgium can't afford replacing Wilmots with Van Gaal because of salaries. Hazard, KDB and Michy must have sighed in relief.

Surely they shouldn't need to spend that much, just someone to get them working as a team is all that's needed.

This is the last moment to put the fate of this great generation of players in the hands of Preud'homme, or maybe Vanhaezebrouck, but my priority would be Preud'homme.

Wise to go with another ex player?

It's not because Wilmots is an ex-international that he failed.

See, Preud'homme is a proven club manager. Not only top results, but shows a lot of tactical sense. Win percentages, after the early Standard trial, 51%-63% everywhere, since 2010 58%-63% (and whole career 58,7%), and has won titles with every club he has managed: Jupiler league with Brugge and Standard Liege, Belgian cup with Gent, Dutch super cup and KNVB cup with Twente, and even the Saudi league with Al-Shabab. Also several times runner-up, several different best manager selections (including the Belgian professional manager of the year twice in a row the last two seasons).

When Wilmots started at the Belgium NT his record as a manager was 6W - 9D - 15L. Or win percentage of 20%, with ridiculously little experience. All he has been awarded with was a boot at St.-Truiden and then was not employed as a manager for 4 years before he was hired as assistant for Belgium and then when Leekens left 2012 the team just fell in Wilmots' hands by default, without the guy having any managerial merit whatsoever.

Two completely different choices of manager then.

Not transferring in any keeper in place of one of Hen and Rui risky? Doing it will leaving me with already-out defender. Proposed team:

    Rui, Hen
    Hector, Taylor*, Fonte*, Rami, Kos
    Ozil*, Draxler*, Payet, Pogba*, Renato
    Muller, Ronaldo*, Bale
