Rate My Team Update & Preview Movie

Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

        Yes. Normally avoid them really. But it's all about enjoying it this year. Fancy a fast start from us! Toying with Ibra, and fairly sure Origi will be benched. Even so - he'll still score

        This. Origi, Firmino and Mane are overkill esp with the earlier fixtures. Spread your risk. Lots of good options out there

    Thinking a big 4 team might be the way to begin. If you miss one that fires, it's tough to bring them in, if they don't then it's easy to jump on a couple of hot starts that are missed.

      Have to remember the kind of defenders that suit Pep's style though. After all, this is a guy who was talking about playing Fernandinho and Fernando back there. Plus City probably need some homegrown talent too. Stones is a good fit.

      Wonder if Peps style of playing out from the back will work against teams in the EPL that'll hustle you, and aren't intimidated by the bigger teams?
      I reckon he'll have to alter his playing style. Personally a way bigger fan of Luis Enrique's style that involves a plan B to hit the occasional long ball.

          That said, if planning an early wildcard, Walcott may be a great pick. May be anyway, it's a simple move to someone like Tadic or Ayew when he drops to bench.
