Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

If you’re not using these tools and are wondering how they can help you, we’ve got an FAQ on both of them here.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

            Harsh but probably fair.... GK's happy with, DEF happy with, ATK happy with - Lamela, Oscar and Walcott are slight risks.

      I was settled on having Baines from the get go. The current Williams news makes him an even better prospect, although Ashley will probably be hogging the bonus points in case of a clean sheet.

      If Koné finally goes to Everton, would any of you consider doubling up on their defense? With a bonus points hogger, an alleged set piece taker and a massive aerial threat, just for 5.0., 5.5. and a measly 4.5. respectively, playing for a manager with a decent defensive record over at Southampton, I'd find it hard not to pick more than one during their easier period of fixtures.

          be careful with Paredes and Amat, if you're not intending on playing them then get 4m with low selection %, otherwise mass transfers out from the casuals will cause both their prices to drop. If you want a 4m starter, Lenihan from Hull is a starter.

          What are the chances of Batshuayi starting alongside Costa this season? Very hard to tell what system Conte will opt to use, because with Willian, Hazard, Costa, Oscar than 2 of either Kante Matic and Fabregas...Guess if they play 4-2-4 he could replace Oscar but he is on decent form at the moment.

            I say you need to Spurs it up. Kane and Lamela great options, both might be a bit much. But Kane, and find yourself a mid sub 7,0 you like.
