Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

      He's frustrating but worth a shot if you think he will have a good year. Most people are picking Deulofeu ahead of him though.

          I think it's not that bad. Gradel and Townsend have potential, I'd personally go Fischer and Deu over him and Townsend...or Vardy, Tadic, Deu over them and Ibra, but that's personal preference. The other thing is Terry is not nailed after Zouma's back.

        I can see that as well, can't see Firmino exploding, but with Hendo being able to feed more effectively we can't predict anything.

        I don't like the idea of Leicester attackers before I see them play in the PL for a couple.

          They are the same team as last year who won the league (minus Kante) and they're playing an injury stricken Hull team in GW1, Mahrez scored 240 points last season

      Mid looks weak, but it's actually not. You've got a setup of 10, 8.5, 6.5, 5.5 (+fodder), last season's top mids to star with were Ozil (9m? dont remember), Payet (7.5), Ayew (7.0) and Mahrez (5.5)

        Don't think United will score a lot, actually think they will struggle to create chances and therefore I don't fancy Zlatan. Have never liked townsend either

          Understand why you think united won't score a lot but I think there's a chance ibra could explode in the first few weeks and might be hard to get him in without losing aguero

          Townsend is a solid pick though I think, good fixtures and much more of a goal threat than their other midfielders and they lack a top striker too. And he's cheap.

      Am I the only one who thinks that the Scout Picks were better in 2014/15 than in 2015/16?
      I mean last year there was only one team picked by the scouts, whereas the year before every scout picked his own team.
      I feel it was more helpful, we could see more opinions every week.

            Darmian can also play LB and in one of the friendlies came on for Shaw and Valencia stayed on the pitch of I'm not mistaken.

              Yes he can play LB but RB is his position and that is where he is most likely to feature. In fact, I expect him to feature a lot at RB, especially in games utd are winning as a way of shoring it up at the back.

              Shaw was building his fitness in pre-season, hence why he was spared a bit but after 70odd mins (from memory) in the charity shield, he'll be good to go, can see Rojo replacing him for last 10/15mins of some games but apart from that he'll play every game.
