Our Rate My Team tool and the associated Projections enjoyed an extensive update overnight as we applied tweaked player appearance probabilities based on the pre-season matches.

Further updates are planned today once Andre Ayew is moved to the West Ham squad and Paul Pogba arrives in the game.

We will also be updating the team attack and defence ratings based on the current bookmaker market trends.

Indeed, both Rate My Team and the Projections are likely to be tweaked on a daily basis as further team news breaks over the week. If you’re using these tools, be sure to check back each day to see how the changes reflect on your current selections.

Meanwhile, late last week we created an updated movie previewing both Rate My Team and the Projections.

      He will 100% start IMO

      Looked sharp against City and fully fit after the Copa America. Giroud isn't ready so he could even play up top (but hopefully not) and against L'pool so they'll need to field a strong team.

      potentially, but 3-4-3 is the preferred formation by most. I wouldn't want to have Diomande as anything but a bench player at the absolute most.

      I would be careful of having hazard and oscar. Large reliance on good attacking performances for Chelsea. With Conte in charge we may not be thrashing opponents with 3 or 4 goals but playing for a safer 1-0

    PALACE IN TALKS FOR BENTEKE

    Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Christian Benteke from Liverpool. Palace have returned to the negotiating table after their £25m bid was turned down last month.

    Liverpool value the striker at £32m, and believe that is fair considering the prices currently being paid for players by Premier League clubs.

    Palace are keen to complete the deal before their first game of the season against West Brom on Saturday.

    Liverpool paid Aston Villa £32.5m for Benteke last summer.

      Think it would be a big ask after one week. But I'm sure he'll become nailed and even if he is 5.5 by then it's still a bargain. I think City will take time to get it right under Pep too. Could even be a disaster. For a while.
