Dugout Discussion

Spare a thought for Mike Phelan.

Already the Hull City caretaker manager seems to be unfurling the white flag, even before Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez get their first run at his patched-up defence.

The first Dugout Discussion of the Premier League season could witness one of the most one-sided opening fixtures in memory.

Champions Leicester turn up at the KCOM Stadium off the back of the FA Community Shield defeat to Manchester United but surely still brimming with confidence and optimism following the triumphant campaign.

Certainly they bring plenty of talent and pace – heightened by the presence of Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray on their teamsheet. That might just prove too much, even for a spirited Hull City showing.

Stranger things have happened, though. Just ask Claudio Ranieri.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Almost had both, but went for Kane and Firmino.

Think Mr. Hurrikane could destroy a few hearts today.

Hes overhyped imo, Kane is proven. As an Arsenal fan I'd prefer him to Giroud

I did for a while before ditching Kane for aguero for more coverage. Also ditched mane for redmond.

Leicester players grossly overpriced on this showing.

At least it'll be easy to replace Mahrez, Fuchs and Vardy.

Should have passed that, it'd be 3-1 if he did.

I fancy Spurs for the title this year now I think. Class team, has been well built over the past few seasons and slowly emerging from the depths. It's only a matter of time for that club I think.

I've been considering that. So much focus on the two manchester clubs that I think a London club might win it. A lot to be said for stability.

You can if you have the link or it's a H2H league. Classic leagues don't have any links to the teams though yet. They will when the game updates at about 9ish.
