Spare a thought for Mike Phelan.

Already the Hull City caretaker manager seems to be unfurling the white flag, even before Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez get their first run at his patched-up defence.

The first Dugout Discussion of the Premier League season could witness one of the most one-sided opening fixtures in memory.

Champions Leicester turn up at the KCOM Stadium off the back of the FA Community Shield defeat to Manchester United but surely still brimming with confidence and optimism following the triumphant campaign.

Certainly they bring plenty of talent and pace – heightened by the presence of Ahmed Musa and Demarai Gray on their teamsheet. That might just prove too much, even for a spirited Hull City showing.

Stranger things have happened, though. Just ask Claudio Ranieri.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Other Site Nonsense:
    Last year I used another site's tool to display live rival's scores, so I just tried to set it up again for this year. They want £1 a month for it, despite already having charged for a pre-season pack that was a bit useless to be honest. Oh well, bye bye other site.
    Live scores of rival teams would be a nice addition for the FFS members though, wouldn't it?

        I don't blame them for trying to charge a monthly fee, but I do think it wrong to take what appeared to be a membership fee pre-season without mentioning planned further charges at the same time. Not actually dishonest, but exactly open.

    Well not a great start but atleast Morgan got 1 point more than Fuchs and Mahrez, Musa or Vardy didn't end up with a huge haul of points and Diomande on my bench is likely to increase in price maybe this or next week.
