Attentions now turn to the Etihad where Pep Guardiola makes his Premier League bow.

David Moyes’ Sunderland are the guests and potential party poopers, although the odds do seem stacked against them.

The Black Cats are in transition under their new manager, while City boast such attacking riches there can be no doubt that they head into today’s clash as overwhelming favourites.

Expectant Fantasy managers will be looking to Sergio Aguero to capitlise – the Argentine heads into the teatime kick-off as the most popular captain choice in the Gameweek and with over 40% ownership.

    For me, De Bruyne and Silva are going to be leave's this season. They are outstanding players, but they are playing in the same way that Xavi and Iniesta did. Both again outstanding but there goals and assists records do not warrant 9.0m and 10.5m price tags in fantasy!

    Nolito and Sterling at 9.0m and 8.0m look far more appealing players to me at the moment!

        I agree he might come in and replace one of them, but I have personally just gone with Aguero. On De Bruyne, for me he needs to be the centre point of an attack to be worth the 10.5m he costs. In my opinion, unless the formation or his position changes, he will be behind 3 others every match.

            I am not sure what there is to "lose". I think that the main output in City's side will be from the 2 wingers and the central forward. De bruyne is currently playing CM alongside Silva. So he will facilitate in the same way Xavi and Iniesta did, instead of providing the assists or the goals.

        I agree, he clearly feels that if someone pops up, he wants to be able to transition easily to them. He normally WC weeks 3-4, so expect that too.

      I bottled Stones because of the rumoured line-up today, and because I think Guardiola may get a shock in the next two with the way they're playing. With the possession though that may be a silly decision!

    Those who moaned about not fielding Amat or Capoue should get real. I have Amat. I would never have played him ahead of my 5.0 or even 4.5 defender.
