Nathan Redmond has usurped team-mate Dusan Tadic as part of this morning’s Watchlist refresh.

With the dust settled from the opening day’s action, we’ve dipped back into the rankings for our daily re-assessment and promoted the former Norwich winger up the midfield standings.

Priced at just 6.0 and deployed as part of a front two by manager Claude Puel, Redmond appears to be our first priority in the mid-price.

The drop for Tadic is harsh. He was outstanding in the 1-1 draw with Watford and produced some performance statistics that suggest he will be a major Fantasy force over the campaign. We will keep monitoring his displays.

But Redmond got his goal and his own numbers were equally impressive: his potential and value is just too strong.

With Puel talking him up at every opportunity, it would be remiss to overlook his appeal at the expense of Tadic and also striker Shane Long.

Southampton’s fixtures will certainly test Redmond’s output.

Puel’s side must now face trips to Manchester United, Arsenal and Leicester. But St Mary’s meetings with Sunderland and Swansea appear to provide the platform for the former Canary to go on producing.

He stacks up behind a cast of heavy-hitting midfielders but may well surpass some of that pack once the Gameweek 1 fixtures are complete.

Today we will be monitoring the performances of Roberto Firmino and Alexis Sanchez in particular.

Further down our list we saw Ross Barkley make positive strides having notched on the opening day once again.

Middlesbrough’s Gaston Ramirez also consolidated his position as our midfield weapon of choice in Aitor Karanka’s ranks.

We’re also showing patience with Andros Townsend. He demonstrated enough to suggest he’ll be a key goal threat for Crystal Palace and his mid-term fixtures remain favourabe. He holds his position as another mid-price consideration.

Further down, Erik Lamela sneaks in to our reckoning. We will be debating his rank further this week, with Dele Alli already coming under pressure as the key target in Tottenham’s midfield ahead of their encouraging schedule.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Why did I choose Lingard over Redmond. *sighs as he looks at his measly 28 points*

Obviously going to see the week out before I do anything but I'm planning on saving unless anyone thinks there's something I need to address?

    Foster (Jaku)

    Valencia, Stones, Kone (Amat, Friend)

    Hazard, Mahrez, Lamela, Redmond (Capoue)

    Aguero, Ibra, Gray

I like your team. If I was to wildcard (which I'm not) I'd pick your team. I'd suggest you don't change it.

Yeah, I was considering trying to jump on the Negredo bandwagon before I'm priced out of it, but from what I've read Gray looked decent yesterday.

I'd keep a close eye on Carroll tomorrow, if he scores I'd probably make the switch - if not stay as you are, nice team.

that being said, Negredo would be pretty tempting if he looks like going +0.2

Having your team almost exactly.. And feeling great about it! only difference is I have Evans instead of Kone.

Valencia v Shaw has the potential to be the FFS civil war.

I know this is a bit old...

    Wenger

"What is new makes news. But apart from that it makes noise. But the noise is not necessarily always quality.
"(United and City) signed a lot of players the year before as well... if you want to make everybody happy, then just buy 20 new players and everybody is full of hope until the first game starts and then we're back to reality."

Clearly backing his current squad to do just as well as the new-look Manchester teams.

Will price changes be around same times - 1-2am - as last season or have they changed it?
