What to do with Mane out this weekend?

Let Fletcher play and hold for the week since reports are saying Mane should be back after 1 week?

Move to Coutinho, Firmino, Lamela, Sterling, or other?

    Rest of attack is:
    Hazard, Redmond, Deulofeu
    Aguero, Ibra, Gray

Was planning to bank the transfer this week until the Mane injury.

Fletcher will get 2 points Max. Might as well play a defender for him

That's true. Could roll out Valencia, Stones, PVA, and Friend across the back and hope for 0-0 Sun Mid game.

Tough call. I'd lean toward saving the transfer but definitely would be tempted to use it - probably for Firmino.

That finish between 3rd and 4th was crazy. Watching it live I didn't think Castlin got it.

Thoughts on Ibrahimovic vs Aguero for captain?

Was set on Ibrahimovic as I think United will be really fired up at home and he should be involved.

But then Aguero goes and scores 3 and by not picking him I'm worried about falling behind the masses who should take him in large numbers.

      Easily Aguero for me

Aguero is safer. Zlatan would be a gamble. Zlatan hasn't looked nearly as convincing as Aguero yet

      1. Zoostation

I think Aguero is the safer bet 100%.

Just have a feeling United will be out to make a very positive statement at home and that would include Ibrahimovic in some capacity.

But yes Aguero is steady and safe.

      Changing my mind every day.

      Zlatan: better fixture.

Kun: more central to his team's attack. Should his 90 minutes mid week concern me?

      1. Zoostation
        • 11 Years
        9 years, 7 months ago

The 90 min very likely could but would Pep take him off in a close match?

Aguero also only ever needs limited time to do damage.

I just hope the "philosopher" doesn't leave us scratching our heads. He has a history of weird rotations...

I was honestly surprised aguero wasn't subbed with the game more than won.

Well I'd think there is next to no chance he doesn't start.

And there is no reason for him to play in the 2nd leg CL if he needs a rest.

I don't see it as either. It seems a rather safe alternative to Kun and Ibra. Good luck with it. If it doesn't work out, it still is a valid choice. Golden boot two years running, at home to Palace.

Your bigger issue is GW4, when all your defenders have touch matchups. I'd look to bring in someone who has a good GW2 and GW4 matchup. I'd look seriously at Terry and Baines. Probably Terry, though you still are a little expensive on defense.

Hazard could outscore everyone this week...

I don't think Ibra will do too well this week but be wary of Aguero. Fresh off a midweek hatrick

Looking forward to waking up at 4:30am Australian time on Saturday to watch my players Valencia, Ibra, VVD, Tadic and Redmond, and tune in for this scoreline:

Man Utd: 1 (VVD og, Martial another jammy assist)
Southampton: 1 (Valencia og, Long assist)

Also looking forward to having no players on Sunday night 🙁 I'll get an early nights sleep though, I guess

Stones (sto) Valencia (SOT) Amat (HUL)
    Bench: Friend (sun) Souare (tot)

    Cheers

Oscar. Played a little deep and on no set pieces whatsoever

Good to go. A little bit much reliance on Liverpool assets which I'm not much confident though.

    GTG?

    Foster
    Evans Amat Shaw
    Mahrez Ramirez Hazard Tadic
    Kun(c) Ibra Gray

GTG. And with Kun, Ibra, Mahrez, Hazard, and Tadic, having Ramirez as your fourth mid is actually perfectly acceptable.

I'd go Kone over Stones, and it's a little heavy on Pool midfielders (I'm guessing that was your transfer), but it's mostly in good shape.

So keeping. A questionable Arsenal defense, in their first match at home, followed by Swansea, Liverpool, and Burnley.

I'd probably let that midfield sort itself out behind Lukaku before jumping on one of them. Deu might lose his spot; Mirallas might lose his spot; and Bolasie likely won't find an end product at his age.
