Dugout Discussion – West Ham vs Bournemouth

The London Stadium hosts the final match of Gameweek 2 as West Ham attempt to settle in their plush new home.

Slaven Bilic’s side host a Bournemouth outfit who claimed a 4-3 victory in the same fixture just over a year ago, via a Callum Wilson hat-trick.

Looking at the West Ham teamsheet, Eddie Howe’s men will fancy their chances again.

The Hammers head into this encounter without both Andy Carroll and Dimitri Payet – the latter “felt something” after his appearance at Chelsea on Monday night, whilst Carroll has sustained a knee injury which will keep him out for a number of weeks according to Slaven Bilic.

As for the Cherries, they appear to have changed shape and seem to be going on the attack: Howe has introduced Ryan Fraser on the flank, with Lewis Cook dropping out.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Hello all

    I've made my 2FTs early... avoided Vardy drop by doing transfers last night. Now kind of thinking I've moved too early but have I?

    Did Firmino out for Mirallas (had 7.4 itb) and Vardy out for Ibra... teams ends up as:

    Heaton
    Morgan Shaw Stones
    Mirallas Hazard Eriksen Redmond
    Kun Gray Ibra (c)

    All okay? Should I stop worrying cos it was probably a good idea?

    Is it worth using a WC to bring in:
    Collins, McAuley, Shaw, Barkley, Nolito, Negredo
    for their impending rises, with the hope that the latter 3 may rise by 0.2 to which I'll then ship close to the deadline.

    Haven't used a WC, but very twitchy with my team right now,

      Surely you don't want to WC yet? Half the teams will look completely different in a few weeks. If you are going to do it, I'd advise on only picking absolutely nailed on players and covering price points so you can shuffle about when the new blood comes in.

      So Costa in your example.

    Not sure who to get rid of to fund Ibra. It has to be Mahrez or Hazard.
    Havent seen any of LEI or CHE this season so I'm not sure who to keep really.

    Really stuck on what to do with Deulofeu, I fear both a price drop, and a drop from the starting eleven by next weekend.

    Trouble is, there are not that many alternatives in the sub 6.5 area (apart from Redmond, whom I have).

    Any ideas? Dowgrade to Ramirez? Townsend still worth it? Bolasie too sideways?

      Hard one...Id go Cout based on how many touches he gets and his penchant for launching lots of shots.

      Eriksen is the assister and Alli the scorer...again, tough one. But Im worried w no Dembele Spurs MF may not click (along with dropping deeper 'Arry). Id rather have Lamela out of all three I think.

      My current dilemma. Got priced out of an easy transfer with the rise. Now Carroll injured but need a forward for 5.9. Kane vs Leaky Liverpool though.. Am I an idiot not to pull the trigger given Ibra's price rises and ownership?
